STN357 Posted October 6, 2019 Share Posted October 6, 2019 (edited) What's up everyone, I was searching through this wonderful forum and I wasn't able to find anything like it so I decided to share this with you all. You all might recognize me from spawning Dubstas on GTAO and revolutionizing that. I tried my hand at the cougars spawns because that kind of ish drives me. I hope this helps, there's a video below. Any criticism is welcomed and I'll be creating videos of each location shortly after this. Good luck out there! What you'll see is a me using a hunting wagon near the location where the cougars spawn and using specific distances to get the cougars to spawn. What I did was call my wagon, drive it very close to the place where the cougar lies down. Then I walk away from the wagon while I watch my mini map looking for the threat indicator. Once the threat indicator appears, that's when the cougar is laying in the spawn location. I get in a spot that I can get an easy headshot and I take it. Easy day. To go into it, I used the hunting wagon to verify the cougar spawns and a used a specific spot that causes them to spawn each time. What it does is it ensures they appear and tells you when they do even if you can't see it happen with the hunting wagon. The hunting wagon considers the cougar a threat but neither of the two flee from each other. If you put your horse there, it would take off. The wagon, on the other hand, holds tight and just notifies your that there is a threat near. I also used a specific location in Cholla Springs that is exactly where you can go, in either direction, to make the cougars reappear. You've basically summed up the entire process in a couple of sentences which was my point, why not just explain the process in the OP instead of just linking a 12 minute video. I don't understand that logic. Not to take away from the process the OP has discovered, it is very clever using the hunting wagon to get a "spawn alert", just explaining the process by text next time, with a video as reference, might be more beneficial. The cougar gives you the most weight for your hunt and knowing where they are and how to fan then effectively saves you so much time in filling up your bar. I'm certain that 6- 3 star cougars will fill up your bar or be very close to it. They give your 16.88 units per 3 star cougar added. 6*17=102 units One full table with a distant delivery gives you just over $600 each time. It's passive income similar to that of the MC/Nightclub/Gunrunning from GTAO.. You put 6 cougars in your table and your be good to go. Good luck out there! I had that happen once or twice with the notification not popping up but it was also around the same time I had problems getting my camp to spawn so I chalked it up to server issues. I just completed the Roanoke one as well as the Great Plains one and only the Great Plains spawn I couldn't get the notifications but the cougar was very easy to spawn there. As well as the North Tall Trees. The South tall trees is a beyotch to get the wagon in and out of there. I'm gonna post more soon but I'm thinking this will be replicated by like some big YouTuber and claim they did it first. I'm working on Roanoke Ridge West by the Roanoke Valley River right now. I could make one for any location. I have videos for edit on Tall Trees (North and South), Great Plains, and Rio Bravo.
