MrFinger
MrFinger's Workshop Welcome to my workshop. I started modding the 3D era GTAs back in 2017 and remained active until 2021, working on vehicles, audio, maps and various miscellaneous projects. In 2022 I made a brief return with some GTA V audio work, but my proper comeback came in 2024 when I shifted my focus to GTA IV, and now I mainly create vehicles for that game. Here you'll find everything I’ve created for the series. Spoiler VEHICLES Spoiler BF Weevil Spoiler A car by the people for the people. Or so claimed die Volksgenosse as they manhandled you faster than you can say "Stardenburdenhardenbart". The colors are distributed as follows: the primary color applies to the upper section, most of the interior, the middle section of the seats, and the rims. The secondary color covers the fenders, interior floor, and steering wheel. The third color is used for the middle section, the outer parts of the seats, door cards and the interior roof. The light textures and interior have been revamped to better suit the game's style. Declasse Walton L35 Stock Spoiler Ever wanted a compact redneck pickup in your LC? Then go and grab Declasse Walton L35 Stock. Features colors distributed so that the primary is assigned to the upper section, the secondary runs along the middle part, while the lower section is marked by the third. It features a couple of extras: either a plastic grille with vertical slits, or a chrome one with or without vertical slits. The bed features the following extras: a landscaping set, a set of scraps or a service & repair setup. All of them have proper collision properties. It can also spawn with a "Retro Vibes" livery. The SA cutscene Washington-esque roof height also has been adjusted. Imponte DF10-GT Spoiler Modelled for GTA V by Xana aka M4k3 GTA IV conversion by MrFinger One of the final models in Imponte's history, the DF10-GT. Based on the Pontiac G8, it was originally made by Xana aka M4k3 for FiveM. My part was adapting this highly detailed model to GTA IV standards as well as LODs, AO, etc. The spoiler is an optional extra, and the rims use the secondary color. Bravado Greenwood Pack Spoiler IV finally gets a proper 1970's land yacht. Bravado Greenwood is available in 3 versions: 1. Civilian. Can spawn with either metallic or vinyl roof. Has whitewall tires by default, delete tire textures from wtd if you don't like them. 2. Police. Features a mostly authentic custom livery and light bar, inspired by the Dodge Monaco patrol cars used by the NYPD in the 70's. 3. Taxi. Has proper signs and a taxi light. Update 1.1 changelog (06.09.25): - New wheel option was added courtesy of Thundersmacker (originally modelled by GCT). Declasse Tampa GT Spoiler Ported by MrFinger Interior and rear axle by Thundersmacker It's time to unleash some 60's muscle power on the streets of Liberty City with the Tampa GT. This port features a few enhancements from its GTA 5 model, such as a new colorable interior (using secondary color), rims with black accents, a solid rear axle, and working turn signals. Hood scoops are now optional extras, and it can spawn with a variety of liveries. Thanks to Thundersmacker for the Stallion S port which I took some assets from and for commissioning this port. MTL Haulking Spoiler Modelled for GTA V by Calvin.linardi GTA IV conversion by MrFinger Exhaust, frame and other assets by Fenton Wheel model by Weeby Engine model by Wib Flip MTL Haulking, a modern semi truck, is ready to take undisputed ownership of Liberty City roads. Unlike R* usual kitbash truck designs, the Haulking stands apart with its original assets. It was modelled by Calvin.linardi for GTA V, and my job was to optimize and convert it to GTA IV. Haulking comes in two distinct configurations: 1. Raised roof variant that features side skirts, a painted visor and can sometimes spawn with cabin extensions. 2. Flat roof variant with no side skirts and a chrome visor. These variants work as extras within one model. It also has a chance to spawn with a mudflap bitch on the rear bumper. Truck features liveries with company logos and USDOT numbers. Secondary color applies to the side skirts and the visor. Update 1.1 changelog (26.07.25): - Fixed missing geometry on flat roof variant - Visor was made slightly brighter - Fixed flat roof livery UV mapping - Fixed plate frame UV mapping - Minor LOD improvements Vapid FMJ Spoiler This Vapid FMJ port features butterfly doors similar to those on the real Ford GT, unique badging, and can spawn with either retracted or deployed spoiler. Also, stock front bumper has been replaced with "Carbon Fiber Splitter" tuning option. Primary color covers the entire body, while secondary is applied on the rims. Bravado Exsess Spoiler Modelled by Barbo Game conversion by MrFinger Bravado Exsess was modelled by Barbo, while I was mainly resposible for bringing it into the game, LODs and AO. Exsess comes in 2 variants: Standard variant is equipped with rims inspired by the classic Kuruma and plastic door handles. A/C is a sportier variant that features higher-end rims, painted door handles, door badges and a spoiler that can spawn randomly. Each variant's performance is appropriately adjusted to reflect their styling. Exsess can appear with two different badges placements: one on the grille, and one on the hood. Primary color is applied to the body, secondary to the bumpers and tertiary to the rims. If you’d prefer the car’s name spelled with a letter "C" instead, you're offered with such option. Pegassi Zorrusso Spoiler This supercar features a number of extras, including a painted and carbon roof and can spawn with either "Multi Pipe Set Up" or "Carbon Angular Exits" tuning options. Primary color is applied on the body, secondary on the engine cover and detail around the rims, and tertiary on the mirrors. Additionally, the default grille and bumper options have been swapped with "Open" tuning parts. Stanley Grassman Spoiler Behold the Stanley Grassman, designed to revolutionize the way you cut grass with its outstanding 11 horsepower. The base model is taken from Max Payne 3, but it went through heavy modifications to get it up to IV modelling standards. It bears resemblance to several Murray lawn tractors from the early 80's. It contains what is essential to make it feel like an actual lawn mower, featuring detailed cockpit, warning stickers, fully modelled engine and livery that can appear randomly. Primary color is applied to the body, secondary to the wheels and tertiary color is used for the cockpit. Grassman comes with 3 different spawn points on the map. Whether you want to add them all or just one of them is entirely up to you. Albany Cadge Spoiler Max Payne 3 port. The name is derived from the textures used by this Cadillac Seville-based MP3 sedan. You may notice some similarities with the Primo and rightly so, as both vehicles bear resemblance to the same car model (Primo is 4th gen and Cadge is 5th gen Seville). Because of this, I'm offering optional "Primo" rebadge. The reason why I didn't choose that as a default name is because it might lead to some confusion and I wanted to give this car some unique indentity so that it would be something else than just a newer Primo. One significant change I made involves the tail lights as the original MP3 model’s tail lights didn’t feel particularly "American" to me. Their texture was taken from the light's spec map, which is a remnant of the car's beta appearance. Cadge can appear with two different grille extras, one with chrome and second with painted bars. Update 1.1 changelog (29.12.24): - Fixed missing right headrest - Improvements to the LODs: improved AO for smoother transitions between lod levels, rim size is now consistent across all lods Brute Felino Spoiler Max Payne 3 port. This is the pickup appearing in Panama chapter, also known by its model name as Felino. Vehicle has been fully adapted to IV art style, no original MP3 textures are utilized, apart from lights. Pickup can spawn with the following extras: roll bar, side steps, bug shield, sun visor, bed rails and two sets of scrap in the bed. It also features liveries, appearing in form of stripes separating two different color tones. If you're looking to swap stepside Bobcat with something more conventional and nicer looking, you should consider the Felino. Declasse Yosemite 1500 Spoiler A fresh addition to the slighly outdated selection of IV's 2-door pick-up trucks. The Yosemite 1500. List of implemented changes: - Replaced out-of-place 60's interior with a more modern one derived from V Speedo. Brown variant is also available - Increased size of rear bumper and license plates - Truck has a chance of spawning with the following extras: bull bar, roll bar, bed rails, side steps, bed cover and boxes in the bed - Slightly lowered ride height Annis Euros X32 Spoiler One of the most iconic sports cars of the 90's and a fap material of many teenagers of the time is ready to rule the roads of Liberty City. Euros X32 from GTAO Bottom Dollar Bounties update is available in two different rim options: first one bearing the same design as the original model and a second one taken from my Previon which more closely resemble the wheels of a real Nissan. Compared to other vehicles created by R* India interns, the car's design wasn't that terrible, but there was still room for some improvements: - Spoiler is now an extra component and its brakelight was made functional - Added turn signals on the bumper - "Euros" badge was added - "Black light panel" bumper tuning option can now appear as an extra - Wheels are now paintable - Fixed license plate size MTL Packer Semi Spoiler IV's fleet of trucks was rather outdated for its time, so things had to be freshen up a bit for the next game. R*'s attempt on that by introducing a redesigned Packer in V was underwhelming, to say at least. They carelessly slapped Stockade's front on Phantom and called it a new vehicle. With my port however, this truck received a lot more character and identity. It is packed with tons of improvements and is no longer just a lazy mashup. These are the most important changes: - Truck is now available in low-roof sleeper cab form, in addition to the regular high-roof cab - High-roof variant received a side skirt - Implemented liveries consisting of different patterns, DOT numbers and company logos - Added bullbar on the front bumper as an extra - Front turn signals were added - Version with the high roof might sometimes spawn with extensions on the cabin - Added secondary color that applies to the front bumper and side skirt - Improved badging Karin Asterope GZ Spoiler A perfect filler of Liberty City's traffic, the Asterope GZ. It was a highly anticipated port, and for good reason - this vehicle is based on Toyota Camry which sat among the most common vehicles on NY roads. IV didn't feature equivalent of this car, which is crimeful. Like many other Online vehicles, Asterope GZ had a potential to be decent looking vehicle but was untimately ruined by many stupid design decisions. I tried to make it look less atrocious by implementing the following changes: - Replaced disgusting wheels with more appropiate ones that are also paintable - Swapped default rear bumper to the "Rounded Rear Bumper" tuning option - Changed Coquette-style interior to a more fitting Schafter/Oracle interior type - Spoiler can now spawn as an extra component (with functioning brake light) - Added chrome grill that can spawn as an extra component - Added front plate - "Asterope" badge was added Karin/Emperor Previon Spoiler Ported by MrFinger Bumper and wheels from Emperor version by GCT Previon from Tuners update is available in two variants: one bearing regular Karin (Toyota) badges and an Emperor (Lexus) badged one. Each variant features different wheels, front bumper, engine model, interior texture, engine sound and handling. Original model had a few design flaws, so I implemented some improvements. These apply to both variants: - Spoiler can now spawn as an extra component - Front plate was added - Unique badges were added - Rims are now paintable - Rims on the Karin version were made smaller, they no longer look oversized Fathom FR36 Spoiler Bring the FR36 to the streets of Liberty City. Some design changes have been made in comparison to its V counterpart. These include: - "Fathom spoiler" tuning option is now an extra - Unique badges have been added - Rims are now paintable Update 2.0 changelog (27.07.24) by Thundersmacker: - improved vertex AO and normals - wheels were replaced - front plate was added as an extra component - clear rear taillight glass added as optional AUDIO Spoiler Addon Vehicle & Police Scanner SFX Pack Spoiler This modification largely expands GTA IV audio in 3 areas: Engine sounds, Horns and Police scanner dialogue. It has an innovative installation method that does not replace entire .dat15 file. Instead, it loads the metadata as its own DLC, meaning it's fully compatible with any mod that replaces sounds.dat15, such as radio downgraders. Part 1: Engine sounds. 12 brand new vehicle engine sounds have been added, covering everything from tuners, muscle, vans and jalopies. Vanilla game’s vehicle audio variety has some noticeable gaps, e.g. there's no small diesel or rotary equivalent, as well as a shortage of light inline and ricer-esque sounds (while having tons of heavy V6/8-like sounds). This mod addresses these flaws - you no longer have to frankenstein the FLA configs to achieve something vaguely sounding with what IV has to offer. Now you can assign new, accurate sounds. Most of the samples are sourced from Midnight Club LA and NFS Carbon. Part 2: Horns. Modification includes 28 new horn sounds. Most of them are ports from my Vehicle Horn Overhaul mod for GTA V, a few of them were made by Jeansowaty. Part 3: Police Scanner. Push your immersion to the max with 201 new police scanner audio lines, including 25 new manufacturer sounds, 27 new vehicle categories and 149 new car model callouts. Nearly every single lore-friendly mod has been covered. If you always wanted the dispatch to properly describe your addon car, this is for you. Your vehicles could've never been more seamlessly integrated within the game's world. Huge thanks to Jeansowaty for voicing the dispatcher. More info can be found in the readme files. Spoiler AUDIO Spoiler Vehicle Horn Overhaul IV Vehicle SFX Spoiler VEHICLES Spoiler Idaho [SA] Previously unreleased VC conversion made for TTDISA Vol II. I don't quite like how it turned out, it's filled with unnecessary elements that gave it the feel of a luxury lowrider rather than a shitbox it was intended to be. This was my last modelling work for 3D era GTA. Little Willie [SA] Previously unreleased VCS port made for TTDISA Vol II. Streetfighter [SA] VCS port. Made for TTDISA Vol II. FBI Car [SA] LVPD copcar edit. Made for TTDISA Vol II. Oceanic Bloodring Banger [SA] Previously unreleased vanilla model edit for TTDISA Vol II. Blista Compact with Rear Louvers [SA] Minor model edit for TTDISA Vol II. Improved Alpha [SA] Minor model edit for TTDISA Vol II. BMX with Frame Padding [SA] Minor model edit for TTDISA Vol II. Bike with Basket [SA] Minor model edit for TTDISA Vol II. Kart with Spoiler [SA] Minor model edit for TTDISA Vol II. Maverick with central window as an extra [SA] Minor model edit for TTDISA Vol II. Maxwell Valger [SA] Opel Calibra model stolen from 3dwarehouse which I attemped to turn into SA vehicle. Result was a very overdone and high poly car that followed none of the SA design principles. Kuruma [SA] LCS Kuruma port. Made for TTDISA Vol II. Rio [SA] VC Rio conversion with carelessy slapped wood panels and interior stolen from another Rio port. Made for TTDISA Vol II. Vortex with extra roll bars [SA] Previously unreleased model edit for TTDISA Vol II. Mesh taken from Bovver'64. NFS Most Wanted Traffic Cars [SA] It was surprising to me that these vehicles had never been ported before, so I decided to be the first. I managed to release 10 vehicles before I lost the will to continue the project. Manhunt Train [III] Subway train from Manhunt. Fixed Xbox Vehicles [VC] [III] Fixes and improves vehicles from Xbox versions of GTA III and VC and tries to improve the fidelity of vehicles that didn't receive Xbox treatment. Improved Shamal [SA] Major overhaul of the Shamal interior from "Freefall" that was also added to the actual vehicle. Improved Andromada [SA] Andromada that looks more like a finished product. AUDIO Spoiler Beta Radio [VC] Spoiler Previously unreleased, intended to be part of VCB. It restores cut radio songs based on info from game's cutscenes, magazines and soundtrack box sets. It reached near-completion status in early 2021, was put on hold, and then finally finished a year later. As AI rapidly progressed in the following months, an idea emerged to replace additional DJ dialogue with AI generated one (before that it used clips from soundtrack box sets, which weren't exactly consistent with regular DJ lines). It never moved beyond the planning stage, and no actual work was done. Even if VCB resumes development, my work will most likely be replaced, Luigi's got their own guys for that. So I'm releasing my version here. Tracklist: -Flash FM- 1. Toto - Hold The Line 2. Glenn Frey - Smuggler's Blues 3. Boys Don't Cry - I Wanna Be A Cowboy 4. Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone -Emotion 98.3- 1. Duran Duran - Save A Prayer 2. Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight 3. Crowded House - Don't Dream It's Over -V-Rock- 1. Big Country - In A Big Country 2. AC/DC - Who Made Who 3. Blue Öyster Cult - Burnin’ For You -Wave 103- 1. Modern English - I Melt With You 2. Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder - Together In Electric Dreams -Wildstyle- 1. Whodini - Freaks Come Out At Night -Espantoso- 1. Los Super Seven - Compay Gato 2. Al Di Meola - Ritmo De La Noche 3. Los Super Seven - Campesino Uncompressed SFX Pack [SA] Spoiler One of my opus magnum projects, which I still occasionally see on recommended mod lists. Its goal was to remake game's low quality sounds using their original sources. Idea for this project emerged in May of 2020 when I stumbled upon original sources for the Cadrona and BF Infection sounds. After that, massive research began, eventually leading to the discovery of the sources for most engine and many other misc sounds. The obvious thing to do with all of this material was to create a sound pack, which was released in July of that year. Work on an update began a few months later. I had a big ambitions for it - aside from adding more HQ sounds, it was supposed to vastly improve the "last gear sounds". In the original release, they didn’t transition smoothly from acceleration sounds; they were just static loops. Thanks to a new discovery, it became possible to change the starting loop positions of sounds (which also made it possible to add HQ horns). But there was a catch, there's a limit of how high the loop start value can be. Because my sounds had higher sample rate, I had to place the loop point very early in the file, which resulted in abrupt transitions. I tried contacting some programmers in hopes of removing this limit, but nothing came of it, and that became the main reason for the update’s cancellation. I also remade unused sounds and included an optional FLA config file that assigned them to vehicles. I'm not gatekeeping it any further, you can download unfinished version here. GTA 3 version was in development, but was canceled rather quickly due to how extremely hardcoded sound system is (sound lengths and frequencies are stored in .exe) which made working on it a chore. NFS MW/Carbon HQ Sounds [SA] Replaces vehicle-related audio with the one ripped straight from NFS Most Wanted and Carbon files. Includes menu sounds as a bonus. MAPS Spoiler Beta Waterfall [VC] An interpretation of how could the clearly-photoshopped waterfall from a magazine look like if it was actually in the game. Manhunt Cranes [SA] Replacement of default crappy crane models with much better ones from Manhunt. Improved Vagos House [SA] Replaces the fake interior of Vagos house with that of the interior world. Improved Stadium Crowds [SA] Replaces png people in stadiums with game's peds. Very resource-intensive mod. Fixed Wheelchair Texture [SA] My first proper mod. Replaces out-of-place dumper textures on the wheelchair with more appropriate ones (which caused a side-effect where the props that used this texture container would now use these new textures, mod basically reversed the situation). A remake was made in 2019. MISC Spoiler Beta Leftovers Fix [SA] [VC] [III] My most important mod, this is where "carrer" kicked off, and if wasn't for it, a certain brazilian thief would still be around. Initially, it fixed exactly what the title suggested, but over time it turned into a general fixes mod, and then it started getting bloated with garbage unrelated to beta leftovers or actual fixes. Retrospectively, I think SA 1.2 is the best version, 1.3 is when the bloat really got out of hand. III and VC versions weren't too bloated, and even today I think they’re still worth downloading. An enhanced SA version was being developed by Matt1010, but it never saw the light of day. VC Particles [SA] Very old and obsolete mod. III and VC Reflections on Cars [SA] Very old and obsolete mod. Spoiler GUIDES & DOCUMENTATION Spoiler FLA Audio Guide [IV] A breakdown of each line in fastman92 limit adjuster audio format. Based on the work of Thundersmacker, sock_737 and ook3d. Car mods adapted to LibertyCityPlates [IV] Repository of vehicle mods adapted to LibertyCityPlates mod that adds random license plate system. Also includes a tutorial on how to adapt a car yourself. Fixing the "No Vehicle Audio" bug [IV] Guide on how to practically fix disappearing engine sounds with high vehicle budget values. GTA 3D Era Original Vehicle Sounds Source Documentation of the original sources for 3D era vehicle sounds. NON-GTA MODS Spoiler Leftovers Fix [Bully] "Fixes and improvements" kind of mod with emphasis on fixing beta leftovers. CANCELLED MODS Spoiler Just the ones that had more than a little work done. Beta Radio, IV Weapon SFX [V] Canceled due to technical issues. Uncompressed SFX Pack [SA:DE] Not sure what I was on when I decided to make a mod for this epitome of everything-what's-wrong-with-today's-gaming-industry, but yes, Uncompressed SFX Pack for Defective Edition was being worked on shortly after its release. Being a UE4 game, it didn't have limitations of the original; it supported high sample rates, stereo audio and didn't have limits regarding loop start points. With no boundaries to work around, I had zero concern for optimalization so the sounds were very long and heavy. Mod would've weighed gigs if it was completed. Obey Aurich [SA] Spoiler Audi 80 for GTA SA. It originally began as model stolen from 3dwarehouse, but it was far too high poly, so it was scrapped in favor of an ETS2 LOD model. Due to the overwhelming amount of work required to properly adapt it to SA’s modeling standards, the car was never completed. Improved Tram [SA] Spoiler Was intended to add a driver section (using assets from Mafia 1) along other things for the Tram. Cancelled because no one was able to create a script that would spawn a driver inside. Extended Liberty City [SA] Spoiler This project was meant to replace the small section of Liberty City from "Saint Mark's Bistro" with the entire Portland. Since I didn't want to add any new models to IPLs (placement stuff scared me), my idea was to import GTA 3 IPLs into 3ds max and combine large chunks of map into just a few models, so I could simply replace the few already existing DFFs in that place. Obviously, this approach had no chance of working. Spoiler I am available for commissions for GTA IV vehicles. Here's what I can do for you in exchange for money: Convert GTA 5/Max Payne 3 vehicles Convert GTA 5 vehicle mods (doesn't matter if they have LODs or not, I can optimize models to match IV’s polycount standards) Convert vehicles from other games such as Watch Dogs, Mafia, Driver SF, BeamNG, etc. Convert stock models from sites like 3dwarehouse If you wish, I can implement design changes from the original models, add extras, etc. I deliver high quality GTA IV vehicles that include: Dirt/spec mapping Full LODs and collision Vertex AO IV-styled geometry (panel gaps, engine and other assets) Optimized polycount Price depends on how much work is required to adapt a vehicle to IV standards, and how many changes do you want from the original model. GTA 5 ports are the cheapest since they mostly comply with IV style, but non-R* conversions are more expensive, as they require significant rework to match the style. If you don’t care about such consistency, we can lower the price - but in that case, I prefer the mod to remain private, since I don’t want to publicly release something highly below my quality standards. MrFinger
Hello. It's been over 3 years since I lost interest in modding. Recently however, I got inspired to return to my old passion. This time 3D era games are no longer my focus. I've noticed that there is a significant deficit in the GTA IV modding scene when it comes to vehicles. So I decided that this is the field where I would like engage and slightly improve the situation of IV car modding scene. Fathom FR36 from GTAV is the first vehicle that I decided to port as I felt like IV was really missing an Infiniti G35 counterpart. I put a lot of effort to seamlessly integrate the vehicle into LC traffic. It features proper dirt/spec mapping, LODs, IV style panel gaps, vertex AO and an appropriate polycount. It's not bloated with crap like tuning parts or HD interior. Some design changes have been made in comparison to its V counterpart. These include: - "Fathom Spoiler" tuning option is now an extra - Unique badges have been added - Rims are now paintable DOWNLOAD 2.0 update is now available in below post! I don't intend to end just on this as I have a lot more ports planned. Stay tuned. MrFinger
Hello. I bring you some news regarding FR36 and a new project. Sometime after the initial release of FR36, I received a message from one the legends of the scene - @Thundersmacker. He expressed satisfaction with my work, but felt like the car needed some improvements. I gave him the green light to do whatever he wanted with it. His efforts resulted in an update with the following changes: - improved vertex AO and normals, the car looks more attractive now - wheels were replaced with better looking ones - front plate was added as an extra component - clear rear taillight glass added as optional - reduced model size DOWNLOAD While I'm here, I can annouce the next project I'm working on. Karin Previon from Tuners update is the next vehicle on my list. It will be available in two versions: one with regular Karin badges and a Emperor badged one. They will differ in several aspects. Stay tuned for the upcoming release. If you're asking about updated FR36, then no, no such option is available. If that's Previon you're asking about then such wheel option will not be present either. 3 hours ago, MitchMaljers said: Is the interior color on the FR36 changeable? You are not able to change interior color by carcols. Nothing stops you from modifying the texture yourself though.
