That's what really bothers me, no words on pre load and character transfer. They know people are really worried about that and they keep this annoying silence, it just doesn't make sense

Who even cares about leaks anymore, honestly? The game's a year old. Unless there's all new story content they're trying to keep secret for the PC version (unlikely), there's no genuine reason for there not to be a pre-load.

Even if so, nothing a day 1 patch can't solve. IIRC some of GTA V's features (albeit already announced like the Editor) were added only on a day one patch.

Idk, but pattern between today's two posts about RDO is interesting: first one was at 4:33pm, and second one just equally 2 hours after this, +- few minutes (6:37 pm)
Only speculation, but maybe we can get new info just at 8:30pm today?

EDIT: my timezone is in Ukraine, so it can be different from yours

We never know what kind of surprises awaits us. Just look at how Rockstar is keeping their mouth shut about the PC Release. It's odd.

Question is, what they are hiding? Game is already 1 year old. They seem to be very cautious with this pre-load.

Not pushing the pre-load button because they fear that someone may somehow get access to the game is pretty damn off as I see it.

No .exe = no game, it's as simple as that. They literally have so many options to allow pre-loading of the game - like holding off the .exe for release, encrypting the files with symmetric cryptography, zip the files using a custom compression algorithm and so on and so forth. 

 

It either smells like a delay or no pre-load at all as the best case scenario.
