Purposely spoiling the game to PC players will get you banned INSTANTLY.

Don't engage into fanboyism, it looks ridiculous saying "console peasants" and "inferior", and similar, and any platform wars will be penalised accordingly.

Am I the only one that discovered this song because I like the genre and this type of music and not for Fallout?

Console players: "You're getting extra story contents and more fps?"

🤔

Takes off top hat, reaches into wardrobe and dons smoking jacket & cravat.

Pours a large brandy and lights a fine cigar before settling comfortably into a large oxblood red leather high wingback chair.

Swirling the brandy in the glass and inhaling the sweet tobacco he muses for a minute pauses to touch his moustache before beginning:

"The trailer is not what it seems at first sight, a random unconnected collection of snapshots of a world that does not exist in this life but look closer, pause and observe the visual mechanism of a time machine rocking forward and back, back and forward showing old and new and connections yet to be seen"

"The journey has been long and sometimes arduous but we are nearly at our destination. All our desires and wishes will be fulfilled, we will finally be equals among the formats"

"Sleep well this final week my friends and dream sweet dreams of the dying Tumbleweed on its final course"

Ever since the clock reset, days have been feeling so long. Now the final stretch of waiting for RDR2... f*ck.

You're either a saint and a scholar or you're away with the fairies.

Guess we'll find out in in a week at most I guess?

So, will everyone just be sitting around for the next 168 hours mashing the F5 key?

168h sounds like a lot of time compared to 7 days lol

do you guys that have played the game on console think it has more replayability compared to gta? cause i passed the main story on gta and never touched it again, was just boring for me.

red dead from what ive seen seems to have a more serious vibe that i enjoy.

Depends on your tastes. What do you like in games?

I love rdr1 very much and i was definetely sure that would buy rdr 2 on console. And I did. Gta 5 was 'meh' for me.

As for replayability 😃 I still don't pass the story in RDR2 on consoles, just wondering in the game world is more interesting for me than main missions (Dan Houser is bad screenplay writer for me). I also disable all hud and this type of exploration in this game is awesome. I wish some RPG game was on that level that RDR 2 in our time. Great exploring experience.

Game world in RDR 2 is something special for me, great achievement by developers. Can spend hours there and not be bored.

I'll play devil's advocate on this one. I think RDR2 was designed with people who only play one playthrough in mind. Diehards will still love playing it through a 2nd, 3rd or 4th time but a lot of the magic of RDR2's world and the dynamic, emergent elements of it is lost in second play throughs IMO.

Saying that, I have something like 80-90 hours in my first playthrough in which I completed the main story and almost all the stranger missions and dabbled in loads of the other stuff. I also have a second playthrough which I've played for 40 hours and I'm at the literal start of chapter 2 still - chapter 1 being the games on the rails prologue. The open world may lose some of it's magic, but there's so much sh*t to find and do still that you're either going to have one gigantic 1st playthrough or plenty of new stuff to experience in your 2nd playthrough.

Unfortunately, game is too easy compared to RDR1.

I don't know why Rockstar give up with Hardcore mode as it was in RDR1.

damn shame they made it easier...

When it came out there were a few days where I played pretty much all day and didn't touch the main story at all. If you love exploring, RDR2 is the best game Rockstar has ever made for that.

Aye, I'm sure survival and realism mods will come out very quickly. Having to eat more, sleep more, take more damage, more enemies, all that stuff will come 100%. Would make an interesting experience for sure.
