Don't engage into fanboyism, it looks ridiculous saying "console peasants" and "inferior", and similar, and any platform wars will be penalised accordingly.

Preloads for GTA V PC were available on the 7th April for RGSC and Steam, so being that this is a bigger game we're definitely nearing the time they should let us preload... Hopefully.

I think next Wednesday is the day. Looking back rockstar has posted something about PC every Wednesday since it was announced.

My guess is that there will be a post on Monday saying pre-load will being on Tuesday. Although Rockstar support are saying that there will be no preload for this game.

RDR2 was announced on a Friday lmao. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday is valid for news, and also Thursdays when everyone is speculating about GTA Online and they just drop a trailer :lol: 

 

Also, Rockstar Support are mostly clueless before stuff is announced.

Guys how many times we told each other that we can't really rely on Rockstar Support? They know nothing, it's like asking 911 if Aliens are real, they don't know but the president might know.
Last time we asked Support if RDR2 was coming to PC they said "No, [...].".

I think a preload a certainty. Imagine Rockstar's servers on the 5th if they didn't. It would like watching a fuze pop.

You'd have better luck asking Dan Houser's magic 8-Ball head than relying on Rockstar Support for any kind of info. 

 

Pre-load is happening. Noone will be playing this game on launch day otherwise.

Bro, you hit the pessimism juice way too hard every time there's a minor hint of any kind of setback. Relax. You'll be pre-loading this game in a few days or so.

There's still time but it's getting a bit tight for people with very slow connections. I doubt there won't be a preload unless they're hiding something huge and they're afraid people find out (inb4 RDR1 remaster embedded and that's why it's 150 GB). :p

I do not know anything about the files...but am curious to know will rdr 2 's be similar to gta v's which consists of x64a,rpf, x64b.rpf.etc and a commandline..?

maybe, maybe not. We can't know until the games releases but it does seems to be case from the little sneakpeek i got
