I think I’m going to just record all of these lengthy camp pitching abject failures and start bombarding Rockstar support with support tickets. I could not play the game, since the camp spawn anymore....in no location.. and I dont wanna change server, because I got packed full of carcasses. I dont want to loose things anymore, becuase of rockstar. If I think of the 2dollars, which I had to pay for a camp, whic despawns after 2 minutes....I want my money back ! This camp issue thing gives me a warm fuzzy feeling, thinking about their future plans with it...... not. And I kinda think that the 'fail bounty' solution and stay in a solo session with camp, is also a cause of the many to pitch up a camp in a public lobby. Go to Alden for stolen wagon or recovery. Something that puts you in a empty lobby. The boy has jailbreak in Valentine which also is guaranteed to get you in solo My method with the bounty board; accept bounty, bring up player menu immediately, pitch. It has proven for me very sucessful, all night solo lobby solo long distance sales. Heaven Another thing you can try is doing a story mission backing out and trying to pitch, it has worked but not all the time so I guess it was luck with server. I'm fed up of having to do this every time I spawn back in from a Free Roam Event, Stranger Mission, Bounty Hunting Mission or even just logging in from the previous day. I'd been able to get around the camp pitching in the Player Menu by selecting it from the Item Wheel for a few days but that unfortunately doesn't always work now either. Come on R*. Ran one resupply and did some hunting. Granted there were only an average of 8-10 people in my session but I was somewhat shocked. This game can be maddening at times. It may not seem like much but that sh*t builds over time. Go the social club and check out your GTAO character's stats and see how much money they took from you in daily charges over the past six years. Yeah you do as soon as it finally decides to pitch itself. It's the being charged the $2 every single time to pitch it again when it despawns that's really irritating, so you can be paying about $10+ per day because it despawns so much rather than only having to pay $2 for it to do you for several in game days (which it usually did). But that doesn't explain why my existing camp gets moved and/or packed up. My camp was in Still Water and I was in Thieves Landing. I started riding to camp when it suddenly relocated to Tall Trees. Won't deny it's frustrating, kills my motivation to do any trader stuff that's for sure. Funny enough I decided f*ck it I'll open a $$ bounty and just hunt for a bit, everything was going great and as the timer got down near zero I decided to chill in the camp in hopes that would save it from when the eventual merge happened. So I'm sitting there in game and getting distracted with the internet while I wait, at one point after realizing it had been 10-15 minutes I looked back up to see my camp still there which was nice, opened the player list and... still in solo lobby. Ok... lets just wander away from camp and *lobby merge*, *camp disappears* wtf! It seriously kept me in a solo lobby till I left my camp and it could properly merge lobbies and bork my camp (that was in an empty spot in the new lobby!) It would be a stupid design if Rockstar is attempting to relocate camps to accommodate the players current location.
