Yes exactly.  ...at least the bandanna should be added. So many npc's had it in first red dead redemption and even one Johns outfit had it.

Dangit, can't find it now; It was a newish article and searches just find the 10,000

year old stuff you are talking about (wow, didn't know they went back that far.)

 

I think this one was unique because her DNA actually connected ALL the natives, North/Central/South

America, directly.

The problem about playing as native male character is that his going to look so empty. Theres not much options in the game. Other male characters have beards and mustaches and female characters have makeups. But when you play as native male, theres nothing to make the character more interesting looking. 

I hope they add some face paints, jewelry(ear rings and stuff) and bandannas to the game. Why is there face paints in gta online, but not in rdo? 

 

Did some quick crappy gimp photoshop to my character in right pic to add facepaint, bandanna and eagle feather. This is how i want my character to look like.

Yeah true the native american horse breeds came from run away or captured spanish horses from the settler camps.

This game has 4 native american breeds and they are all small size horses what is also called indian pony.

American paint

Mustang

Appaloosa (mostly nez perce peoples horse)

Nokota (i quess lakota had these)

 

Its pretty funny and weird to see some players play as native and then ride some ridiculous big giant horse, because in real life native rode some of the smallest horses. Thats where the "indian pony" comes from.

 

My character rides american paint. Used to ride appaloosa, but decided to change to american paint as it suits my character better. Appaloosa was feeling bit too fancy for him

 

Heres my paint pony with the 2 color mane from the pass. Fits perfectly because the paint horses have those 2 color manes and tails in real life apparently. Wish it was option to add eagle feather to the mane.
