All of my horses are named after Comanche terms and words. I wish Rockstar would drop more First Nation’s attire. So glad I found this group. This is so cool to see others doing the same. I have had many other players wave or give me the thumbs up and of course some who use the emote “You smell” or “Spit” at me, and I can only assume it’s a bunch of idiot racists. Most love this role we have taken. If anyone griefs me, I just hit them with dynamite arrows or use my dual sawed off shotguns. I also frequently use the hatchet. I think we have a good chance of seeing Rain Falls or Eagle Flies added as stranger missions if Rockstar ever add any more into online. I'm hoping the Wapiti will play a part in online somehow, it just seems odd that the Reservation is a ghost town and that there's a fast travel post there. I still wasn't happy with the name I had given my character after FP (Red Feather) as I didn't think it suited him. To help me decide on a more fitting name I sent my character on a mock vision quest up to the Grizzlies in the middle of a blizzard to add an authentic element to my character. While I was sitting up in Colter taking in the scenery and listening to the sounds around me the idea struck me. This is Runs with the Wind, translated (VERY roughly as best as I could do on my own) to Iyagke kici Tate in his native Lakota Sioux language. A free spirited character who goes where the wind takes him, Runs with the Wind embodies the characteristics of the Northern wind which stands for hardships and discomfort but also the patience and endurance to overcome these hardships. He has lived a hard life of moving place to place as the white man continues to push his people out of their lands and in deciding he can no longer sit idly by, he has started to take matters into his own hands. New origin story to come (possibly posted here or the backstory thread if anyone seems interested) as I am toying with the idea of creating a blog/online journal to chronicle his life to keep me occupied on days I can't get online to play.
