Native Americans Of RDR2 Online

Got myself a new horse today! called it novęše'évo'ha (Race Horse) it is a white Arabian. Horses bred by native Americans usually have Spanish Barb, Arabian, Mustang, or Foundation Appaloosa blood in his veins.

Horses were imported by Spanjards and not a native type of animal much. The first ones got 'introduced' to North America in 1493. 
In 1519, the rest of the continent got horses. Horses have existed before in America, though 11,000 - 13,000 years back in time, when the last prehistoric horse race died out.

Saw someone post their character on Reddit earlier, said they were going for an Indian army scout I think, thought it came out rather well.

I'm failing to get this to link the img into the post so, there it is! Looks like the guy put on a red beanie type hat then cut the pic off to give the look of a headband, dunno how it would look in game but works for the pic obviously.

There’s a real lack of Native American content compared to other content so been trying to make up new outfits and give people more options/ideas.

Got a new horse today. Named her 'Tekonwenaharake', it's a Mohawk saying. Means 'Her voice travels through the wind' 

 

Silver Kladruber. Fast horse, so I thought it seemed like a fitting name for her.

Been a long time since I checked out singleplayer but went back today to check what options they have for native Americans. Why is it npcs always have the best stuff?! Hopefully we get some of these at one point, feathers in your hair, face paint, body paint, sashes, native necklaces, native chaps, bandannas with native design, headbands, untucked shirts, native Americans in old soldier uniforms.

Unfortunately it’s just the wool hat as there isn’t any headbands in the game yet.

I’m loving these Native American characters, lots of great looking ones posted so far in this topic. So the pelt half chaps can’t be purchased currently? Also, I went roaming into the Wapiti Reservation a few days ago and it was a ghost town, has this always been the case online?

 

Edit: OK as I figured Rockstar omitted Natives online to avoid the inevitable YouTube slaughter videos. Too bad, I’d love to be able to do missions for the tribe...or even join.

Yeah I don't get why they made it a ghost town considering in SP you can't even draw a weapon while in the reservation limits, but whatever.

I have a feeling they will bring the Wapiti into online st some point. I could see Rains Falls or Eagle Flies as a new character added for stranger missions.

 

The fact that there's a fast travel post at the reservation even though there's nothing up there I think is evidence that they'll be there eventually. At least I hope so

I hope so too. I do have a feeling that's it's just left over from SP, like the trapper camps.

 

You can actually pitch your camp at Wapiti too, which doesn't do anything to give me any hope either.

It's actually very weird that the only remains of Native American civilisation are a tiny abandoned reservation, a few burial sites and a few broken teepees here and there. I haven't seen a single Native American NPC anywhere in Online, like they are extinct. There are no signs of native civilisation on The Great Plains, an area where the Comanche tribes ruled for ages, other than a few arrow heads to dig up. If Rockstar indeed has intentions to stay true to the era, where the hell are the Natives?

There's a link to a video explaining the glitch in the fashion thread (I believe), the trick for that specific shirt or whatever is to not be wearing a top at all before doing the glitch. Basically the glitch merges a role outfit together with the grizzlies outfit (that you save as a custom outfit, the video explains it) and then once you got them to merge correctly you just go to the wardrobe and remove all of the role outfit pieces you didn't want, replacing them with standard clothing.

...but can you save these glitched outfits? I thought they were only temporary for a session?

You can save them. They only vanish when you enter a pvp lobby or legendary bounty hunt but every time you return to free roam you can just equip your saved outfit again.

How would you do it for a female char since you cant wear no shirt?

Never tried on a female but I never took my shirt off either. I just did exactly the same as the bandolier glitch and it worked for me. 
 

only thing I did differently was I used the Tasman outfit instead of the grizzlies outfit as it wouldn’t work for me.

Yeah admittedly I didn't think about the fact that that particular item prolly didn't clip with shirts anyway due to it being an outer garment. 

 

Edit: maybe depends on the shirt, wool shirt being a good example.

Only natives online are the ones that hang with the skinners
