How much did you spend on Frontier Pursuits?

 Ok, I gotta level with you, I went a bit nutz. I didn't crunch the exact numbers, but I know for a fact I've dropped about 300 gold bars & over $5000 since the update hit. (I had close to 700 Gbars & $15 k) I didn't even buy every single thing, just cherry picking what I liked it got pricey, but I said to myself "what the hell, YOLO"  (lol) 

 A little curious, how much did you guys end up spending, or did you just not really want anything for now?

Too hard to work out accurately. I'm kind of a new player, played at launch for a while so I got the various free gold and cash gifts that were getting tossed out. I've played fairly solidly since the last update, spent on the Outlaw Pass, metal detector, shovel, hunting wagon, large delivery wagon, various clothing and camp items. Made a fair amount from the trading role and hit rank 12, recently hit rank 5 on the collector role.... currently have around 60 gold bars and about $2000. 

 

I'm just trying to enjoy the game and not worry too much about the money and gold. I'm really not into doing all the math to work out which activity pays the best per hour etc etc. I hated online at the beginning and now I'm actually enjoying it. So much so that I haven't bought Tropico 6 yet. 

 

* I did buy 25 gold as it was on offer, I got the outlaw pass as I had already hit rank 60 and knew I'd get all the gold back. I don't usually do micro transactions but it sort of made sense.

15 gold bars to get all 3 licenses.  And since the update about another 50 gold bars, and about $5000.

However quite a bit of that money was spent on stuff that was available before the Frontier Update - I just didn't want to waste money ahead of time on stuff I didn't want or need at the time.  Plus I never bought any of the lower-model tents, I just waited until I was of level to buy the top level one and grabbed that.  Since then, specifically for the camp - Trader Theme, Bounty Hunter Theme, Improved Campfire, and Medium Wagon.  Will Hunter Wagon tonight and a Stew Pot.  I spent a bit on clothes and a new belt and holster set.  After these next purchases, I will be saving up during levelling to get all the high level pamphlets so I can start crafting explosive ammo and making it en masse.

I've probably spent ~150g and ~$5000 since the update, though it wasn't all on newly added items. I bought all the major FP upgrades plus a bunch of clothes, new saddle, some guns I wanted to try out (semiauto shotgun, dual Mausers.) All in all I'm just more willing to spend a bit more liberally now that we have new and better income sources.

Ive spent around 17k in this update.

 

Ive spent some gold too, but only around 20 gold on clothes, and then the rest on one role and the outlaw pass. I have around the same gold now as I had from before the update.

 

I dont have much money anymore tho. So going to actually try to make a profit from now on. Keep my camp business rolling and then do collector stuff inbetween.

About 100-150 gold and $8000. But since update is so profitable, I was 700 gold + $12000 before it, now I have 740 gold + $18000.

I don't know/CBA to add everything up, but at a rough guess I've probably spent in the region of $7k-$8k and maybe 25gb-30gb.

 

As others have said or their figures show, it doesn't really matter how much I've spent as I'm around $5k and 50gb up on my totals from before the update.

 

The amount you can earn from hunting and having the metal detector out while riding from one bounty board to the next, with the occasional trip back to camp, is crazy.

Two versions of the established BH outfit, three of the distinguished, every version of the holsters, two eye patches, two BH rings & one trader one, all the camp themes, the weapon lockbox, the stew pot, all the wagons, shovel, lantern, metal detector, enhanced binoculars, the Delgado saddle, the Trader saddlebags & some clothes, like the Bullseye gloves.

 

 Oh, & 30 Gbars on the trader & collector roles, since I'm on Xbox & don't own GTA v

I don’t know how much it was, but i’ve spent 15gb on 1 role (other 2 were free), 1 bountyhunter outfit, the metal detector, a shovel and 3 of the cheapest maps.

reinforced lasso , chocolate lab, upgraded fire , stew pot . Shovel , a bunch of maps , a metal detector , medium delivery wagon , large delivery wagon , a hunting wagon plus paying to open a 4th stall for hunting wagon horse/mule . Some clothing and gun belts  and upgraded 3 new ability cards . ..... somewhere around 9 grand maybe .....but I've made 11 grand back so I'm up 2 since the update dropped.

You definitely don't need a stable space for the wagon horse, it's just a random horse assigned to the wagon. I don't have a stable space for it

 

 

OT: So far I've probably spent 2 or 3 grand and about 40GB and still have more to spend. Before this update I didn't really buy a whole lot except for a GB Appaloosa and some clothing, so now I'm spending the money on ability cards, camp equipment and tents, weapons, and holsters

Just about earned my gold back finally, the streak reset hurt my gold income a lot. Cash wise I've earned more since the update than I earned in the time between launch and the day update launched, so I'm gucci there.

Looking at it from a in-game monetary value it costs 35 gold bars and pays back roughly ~38 bars and $900-1000 cash from the gold bar, cash and treasure map rewards you get through leveling it to max level. On top of that there's plenty of other useful/decent rewards.

 

It's 1k exp per level which is quick and easy doing pretty much any content in the game. With the Collector right now you can 1-70 in a few days.

I'm not sure how much I've spent. All I know is I've spent $0 on Gold Bars. Meanwhile I've gone from ~250GB and ~$5,000 before the update to ~325GB and ~$30,000 since.

With the Collector you can go from1-70 in under 6 hours once you have the Metal Detector. By following the preset location map to get one full set of every collection it would be ~80K XP (40K Role XP and ~40K+ XP)

 

If anyone's short on gold, it's best to prioritize Outlaw Pass + Collector. Then quickly use Collector to hit Outlaw Pass Rank 70, and use the Gold Bars from the Outlaw Pass to unlock the remaining roles. (Not to mention the $5,000+ from selling every collectible set once + Outlaw Pass rewards will help towards purchasing the equipment for Bounty Hunter and Trader)

No you dont it has its own space same as BH wagon
