Vlady_xD Posted September 29, 2019 Share Posted September 29, 2019 (edited) Hi! I'm having a weird problem with one of my saves which a good portion of the game is completed. I don't know what happened but yesterday when I tried to load up the save it suddenly crashed to desktop with just "gta-vc.exe has stopped working " error. Then I discovered that if I load an older save then the current save with the problem, I experience no crashes at all. So the question is why this thing happens? I don't understand what is the problem.. The only mods I have are just some fixes for the game like SilentPatch, Widescreen Fix, Classic Axis, modloader and debug menu. Maybe because silentpatch or Widescreen got updated throughout the playthrough and somehow they corrupted my save ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Posted September 30, 2019 Share Posted September 30, 2019 Using that save point causes the save file to get corrupted in some versions, so it seems you've encountered that bug. I could never find a solution to this apart from loading an older save, but maybe someone with more expertise can provide a solution. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just wanted to know what exactly was causing that bug and now that I know I will never save at the factory ever again. Thank you so much for your answer, really appreciate !
