I wanted to specifically ask about the GTA IV CE radio downgrader, which I was very satisfied with earlier this year to restore all music tracks, while the EFLC stations were absent. However, on today (June 3 2020), Rockstar patched in Vice City FM, Self-Actualization FM, and RamJam FM. I feel like this update broke some stations for me, for example some original songs have returned (I noticed "Droppin' Science" on The Classics, and "Touch Too Much" on Liberty Rock Radio), while stations like The Journey remain altered. Maybe I did not look hard enough, but after driving a car into a Pay and Spray over and over to hear different tracks, not every song appeared. To make matters worse, I think Vladivostok FM was broken for me; the station plays DJ Paul's mix, but Ruslana's mix brings nothing but commercials and station IDs playing yet no actual music playing (just Seryoga's "Liberty City: The Invasion" once but that was it). I do not want to rush you at all and I understand the patch just came out, but maybe you can please update this downgrader to accommodate for all stations plus the EFLC ones (to my knowledge, only VC FM had tracks removed), perhaps this will fix the stations and ensure every song plays? Maybe Rockstar will release a patch soon but I doubt they even know this problem exists; I do not know if it is just me or others notice issues as well. They've been paying some attention to this game recently and I have a tiny bit of hope for them (too bad they never fixed optimization issues...). Thank you so much! Yeah I am okay with not playing the game for a while until the downgrader is updated, or Rockstar fixes the game themselves. Again, I'm not sure if I am the only one experiencing these weird glitches or others are as well

I'm okay with waiting until the music downgrader is updated to this current version of the game (it does not work anymore after EFLC stations were added), please let me know when an update is released but I'll keep checking this forum regularly because I much prefer the original soundtrack. Lucky4LeafClover
Hey Sam Lake! Any news on how the downgrader is coming along for the most recent Steam version of GTA IV? Just checking in to see how it's working as I'm holding off another playthrough until I can get the old songs back in (kinda wish R* didn't patch things sometimes but readding the 3 EFLC stations isn't too bad in my books). CarlTheGamer438
Hello! Basically, I downgraded the Steam version of GTA San Andreas, renamed the "gta-sa.exe" file into "gta_sa.exe" just for SA-MP, and it still crashes. Any solution to this issue? Thank you! Igor Bogdanoff
would be nice if you send image of the error, say if sa itself crashes or samp and also if sa works (if samp doesnt) CarlTheGamer438

Sorry about that! San Andreas works perfectly fine for me. https://imgur.com/a/TPlTNhJ I observed one thing last night: After downgrading and installing SA-MP without any other mods installed, it gives me an error with the requirement of DirectX 9.0. After installing the ASI Loader and SilentPatch (I don't know if I needed CLEO for this one, I have it installed in my main downgraded folder), SA-MP crashes, again. CarlTheGamer438
Did both. Gave me the same error, weird... Even with compatibility mode turned on, it crashes. EDIT: Nevermind, I just got to fix it. I don't exactly know what I did in the files, but I did it. Thanks for the help anyways! Ralph Pendelbury
I appreciate just the fact you're working on it. No problem waiting, don't wanna have to use my old, outdated GTA IV to play the game but i'll do if Rockstar keeps being a bitch and excising songs from the game. If this goes on we'll have a mute radio ingame by 2030. Bleargh! Edited July 2, 2020 by Ralph Pendelbury
silvinax
So I just figured out that if you use the Radio Downgrader the game will open but the save files will get corrupted somehow? And when I paste back the original radio files, it loads my saves without any problems. sh*t, I want to just play the damn game like we're supposed to, why does Rockstar has to make everything so difficult OMG... Any idea how to fix this? I doubt there's any fix but hey there's no harm in asking.

Patrxgt
Hey, is it possible for Radio Downgrade to GTA IV CE to also support songs added after the patch cutting out songs?
