After I applied the Downgrade, i want to start the game via Rockstar Launcher as explained but then it want to make an update first. Soggy biscuits Posted July 16, 2021 Share Posted July 16, 2021 (edited) This downgrader refuses to work with samp. Everytime I open, it instantly crashes. I already renamed it to gta_sa, tried using ultimate asi loader and silents asi loader, even tried it without any modifications at all. I have literally tried every basic possibility. I have SA on steam already as well. Anyone got an idea on how to get samp to work? Claude_Lib Posted August 5, 2021 Share Posted August 5, 2021 (edited) I'm having a bit of an issue with IV and I feel like this is the most fitting place to post. Personally, I'm totally fine with Complete Edition, except for the soundtrack, so I always restore it by taking the audio folders from IV 1.0.7.0 and EFLC 1.1.2.0 and putting them into the CE folder for the base game and the episodes, and it always worked wonders. Recently I felt like replaying the story and came across an issue where the game cannot load it's own saves. Like, it saves seemingly successfully, the save shows up on the list, last mission name and all, but it always fails loading. If I download a save from the internet, it loads properly, and if I restore the cut audio, the game starts saving properly too. Tested and confirmed on two PCs running Windows 7 and 10. Basically, is there a way to restore the soundtrack on CE 1.2.0.43? Even if it means losing EFLC-exclusive stations, I don't really care about them anyway. I thought that maybe going back to 1.2.0.32, which was before R* readded Ram Jam FM, Self-Actualization FM, and Vice City FM, might solve the issue, but then the game cannot log into Social Club and therefore save. Terribly sorry, it appears that the downgrade in the opening post actually restores the radio and not downgrade the whole game? Gonna try it out. Maybe I shouldn't have written that wall of text. I opened the install.bat file, the windows pops up for a few seconds, closes itself and nothing changes. no gta-sa.exe appears. It took me more than a hour or something to remove commercials. I no longer have the blank audio file to use, deleted 3 months ago. I have the original Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy compilation of the game which used the Second Edition of San Andreas and the v2 to v1 Downgrader worked on it.
