I have one reported that downgrader does not work on RGSC version, if it's installed in Program Files. So please install your game either outside program files, or move your game outside program files if you have already installed it and then use downgrader.

This happens for me when i 1st attempted to downgrade RGL version, I tried to change All user & groupsΒ permission to "full control" and 2rd attempted, it works and downgrades RGL version. When I try to run gta-sa.exe after installation completed, It works well. Maybe "administrator permission" prevents the downgrader from changing the file. But anyway, good job!

So I tried the Downgrader on the RGL Version of GTA San Andreas and it works. The minor issue I have is that `vorbisFile.dll` is missing somehow and need to obtain it. Not sure if you can add that to the tool in a update or where to get the original .dll from?

That is weird. I have it in my vanila folder of all SA versions. I will drop you pm with file.

And i checked, im not even touching it

Seeing that III and Vice on RSGL needs these downgraders, has anyone outlined the differences those versions have versus the older retail/Steam versions?

III has different particles.txd (i guess they just rebuilt it)

VC has cut OST like mobile versions. (steam should have too, but seems like R* messed up depots)

It is saying when I open install.bat it's saying access denied when the window is opened

Try changingΒ the game folder permission to "Full Access" for all group, users and/or Administrators via properties. This problem is most likely when you install the game on Program File.

Yes,Β because Installing on Program File was a really bad idea because Rockstar GamesΒ won't allowedΒ us to edit the game file.

I have the retail version of Episodes from Liberty City and after installing the radio downgrader for it the game will crashΒ to desktop when trying to start a new game/load a savefile. Doesn't matter if it's a fresh patch 3 installationΒ or not.

I dont have dvds on me right now. Does it crash on both tlad and tbogt? have u tried mashing space to skip cutscene, or going to audio settings and checkign radios there first?

It crashes on both of them, yes. After selecting "Start" for TLaD the game will start fadingΒ in its sub-title before freezing for a second or two and then crashing to desktop. With TBoGT it's just a black screen followed by crash to desktop. I don't believe I canΒ check the radio from the initial main menu.

wait a minute. I didnt thought about it :D

This downgrader is only for steam, as that one got the radio cut.

it's not necessary for DVD version as it's 1.3 version still got full radio. Reinstall game, install offiical patch and do not install this downgrader!

Im so sorry for inconvenience, edited OP so it's more clear now.
