Usually you need a merge glitch to set these colors and merging works slightly different depending on the platform. For console you basically copy everything from one car to the other, so the target car would take on whatever colors are on the donor car. For PC in general you'd need to buy everything you want to change on the donor car, so there you would be limited to the colors you can buy.

 

I'm not sure what you mean by save editor... is it that tool for PS4? If so you should be able to choose whatever color you want.

 

If you were asking about the Stinger / GT specifically, on these cars it's only the stitching on the seats that changes, and I think you can choose different secondary colors depending on what color you pick when making the purchase. IIRC buying the car in orange or white would give you black secondary, for example.

This topic is very resourceful, I would like to add that the Primary color on the Burgeshot Stallion also paints the cage, with the texture being transferred to the main car, and pearlescent in the same fashion as the Go Go Monkey Blista.

the stromberg, torero, ardent, ellie, ruston and sc1 seem to not have any texture issues when you apply color on the interior. I wonder why trim color is unavaliable if its working perfectly. The guy who made the model made all the texture mapping to allow these parts to be painted, is almost an insult to him/her not allowing their work to be shown.

I'll have to include some of your vehicles that are missing in my list. I knew about the Besra (I have one with secondary color matching the star/numerals of the livery) but hadn't added it yet for some reason.

 

One note though: The trim color of the FCR 1000 Custom can be changed at Benny's. Should I include that in the list?

It can? I mean the seat color? If it can now, then Rockstar fixed this oversight and then it goes out of the scope of the thread, so I would suggest to take it off then.

 

I will get pictures of the aircraft too, also, quick question, do you wanna expand the thread with info on unreleased Liveries or parts like the wheelie bars on the Buccaneer custom?

No, I think the seat could always be painted at Benny's. At least it was back in ~2018 when I bought my FCR 1000 Custom.

 

I could add all hidden/locked modifications, but that's quite a lot, especially when it would also include the vehicle "extras" (like the sunroof cover for the Blista Compact / Go Go Monkey Blista). The Gunrunning / After Hours camo liveries are probably 30 vehicles alone. I'm pretty happy that this list is basically complete. (Although you have a couple that I missed.) Since I started the list, I always checked the newest DLC vehicles for hidden colors. (For Tuners all colors are accessible on every car.)

 

If you want to take screenshots of the vehicles anyway, then it would probably be a better idea if you start a new thread, and you could reference my colors list from there.

Just to clarify, you can paint the Luxor Deluxe normally, the only thing is that if you want to get rid of that "presidential seal thingy" in the tail you will have to paint it pure black.

I mean, by merging you can, the thing is that golden paint is a paint, not an "overlay" like the paintjob on the Burger Shot Stallion that will always be yellow.

The only thing here that is being hard to pull off is the "lights off" in the Arena futureshock stuff, because I could not find a single car that could donate a black accent, the closer you get is the Tornado Custom that have a category called accent color that in reality is the secondary color, probably the only way of turning the lights black would be to have the option to "null" like what happen with the upgradeable cars.

 

I remember to try a long time ago without success.

 

In consoles might be possible with a magic slot, but in the PC? no idea.

Pretty much every ordinary car has accent color set to 0 (black). I think on console, merge glitches transfer all modifications from one car to another, whereas on PC that only works for a couple of things like crew color and bodywork "extras". Everything else won't save; instead you can only temporarily change the type of the car and then modifications you actually buy will save. A tool like LSCHaX however will let you create a car completely from scratch, including accent color set to Black. Chrome (#000000) would be completely dark but usually Black (#080808) is enough, and I don't think chrome accent color is possible on PC anyway. Certain things like trim/wheel color *other* than the ones available at LSC, custom aircraft smoke, Yankton plates, green window tint don't save on PC either way. But black accent color is possible. I have a Vagner without the side stripe and also tested the Future Shock Cerberus and Issi. The Deathbike works a little different because there the bodywork lights are derived from the neon lights color, and at least on PC that gets reset to Bluish Silver if it is any color you can't buy at LSC. I should probably note that in my list as well.

Yeah I don't get it. That almost happened with the Paragon but luckily they fixed it. At the time though I was on consoles and did the merge glitch to get interior colors because I was not having that sh*t.

It seems there was one recently according to the gtaglitches subreddit, but it's patched now. I don't follow glitches anymore since I play on PC and use a program to do these kind of things.

Ignus has a trim colour but not in game, i would imagine the weaponized version does too. 

The Arbiter GT has the gauntlet classic interior which supports trim colour but i cant verify if rockstar made a new version of it since its next gen exclusive. The same issue applies to the cyclone 2.

The weaponized Ignus interior can be painted using a merge also. I have a Arbiter GT with a brownish-tan interior as well. Havent seen anyone in the meet with a colored Cyclone II interior yet but I will keep my eyes peeled for one.

I will keep an eye out for the cars that dont normally have inaccessible trim/interior color options. I think that the ignus and Reever may be the only 2 cars with this issue but Ill check other cars to see if I see one with a colored interior.

After reviewing this thread, I think I'll try updating a Cyclone 2, Ardent, Nero, Beater Dukes, Novak, Roosevelt Valor, and maybe a Locust if I can find one. I have a so-called "magic slot" so many of these inaccessible trim and accent areas are accessible to me, at least for the time being. I remembered that I have a Creator X80 Proto with pure white trim and fluorescent blue accent so that might make some of these really stand out.

 

For the Stinger GT I will have to wait for a merge glitch - I have had that car in the game since basically the beginning and I can't believe I didn't know about this
