Is there a list of vehicles that have a paintable trim color that is not normally accessible at LSC / mod shop?

Be advised that secondary paintjobs also color the seats stitching so that might ruin some combinations, which is why my interior is now jet black instead of cream.

The seats in the Peyote Gasser can be colored, but it only shows on the racing seats that come with the roll bar options.

On things like the Scarab it gets rid of the glowing band of light that goes around the tracks.

I think that's how it goes. I believe all cars that don't have a colored interior default to being pure black or something along those lines.

I think there is also a difference in how colors are saved on PC and console.

 

I'm on PC and the accent color on the Future Shock Impaler turned to black after upgrading an Impaler and restarting the game. But for the FS ZR380 and FS Scarab, it never happened for me, and even when I tried to merge the FS Impaler with black accent color onto them it didn't work.

Merge any "normal" car onto the Future Shock versions, like a Patriot, or something. All vehicles in the game have accent colour set to black by default, with the exception of Benny's vehicles (dial colour) and fellow Future Shock vehicles.

I don't know about the VSTR, but the Komoda does & it looks like sh*t. It have this weird low-res dark tint that ruins the interior.

Vehicles have hidden bodywork "extras" that are transferred when doing a merge. Here is a link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cBhqeM19x7xAAo30eh88kkTDY4pm0nrLa--sNzZ0Jks/ (not my list)

 

The body panels, spare tires, etc. on the Trophy Truck are extras 1 through 5. So to get these back, you need to merge either a Trophy Truck *with* body parts onto the one *without* body parts, or a F1 car onto the Trophy Truck. Make a small change like color or the license plate background while in the mod shop.

 

(Note: It will only work like this on PC. Merge glitches on console work differently and would transfer over the trim color in this step again. But on PC only actual modifications during the merge are transferred -- in addition to crew color, bodywork extras, and license plate text.)

 

(Note 2: Every vehicle has a plate even if it doesn't show on the vehicle. So make sure you do not accidentally put a non-visible dupe plate on your Trophy Truck. You can avoid this by placing a custom plate on the F1/TT donor vehicle via iFruit, or by merging a stolen car over a car with a dupe plate and blowing up the stolen car afterward. The latter would mess up the bodywork extras again though.)

Nice... already bought a new one though the padding was so dark for my taste that i didn't rly thought it was worth it.

I don't know what or how they did it, but the topless Casco is inaccessible on current gen.

The roof is extra_2 for the Casco, so to create a topless Casco you need to merge a car onto it that does NOT have extra_2.

No, you can have a topless Casco -- at least on PC. I created one by accident when I first started with this glitch by merging a Tornado Custom over it to add Benny's wheels. But I actually prefer the Casco with the roof, so I bought a Buccaneer Custom with the vinyl roof just to get the wheels on a Casco with the roof. (Which I then replaced with ordinary lowrider wheels because I didn't like the Benny's on it, but that's beside the point. 😉)

 

EDIT: It is no longer possible to have a topless Casco on PC either.

The Beater Dukes also has padding = trim color on two of the rollcage options.

 

And I have yet to include inaccessible secondary colors like on the Massacro and Apocalypse Brutus.

Go Go Money Blista's rollcage modification is dependant on the Primary Colour. You can normally not respray the Go Go Monkey Blista, and it is always delivered to your garage in red, despite that the livery covers the whole car.
