I love Survivals, and with seven new maps with double payouts, it's a great week!

 

Also, a cool GTA$1 million just for logging in this week. Don't knock it if you need the cash.

 

And the Declasse Mamba is well worth winning on the wheel. I already have one, but if I get lucky I might keep a second Mamba because it's that cool. Some vehicles are difficult to drive but very satisfying at the same time. And I especially like the Mamba Business Battle mission.

I'd just like to point out that the Declasse shirt released today is actually new and never released before, to those that care about collectibles.

 

Also, pretty much like last week, this is a great event for me and I'll be sure to log in and play during it as often as it is possible.

 

I don't even care that much that the Jugular wasn't released today. Yes, I am excited for it, but new survival maps with the new payout and settings are enough to keep me occupied. In the end, I see this as one less week between the end of this dripfeed and the release of the next update.

I'm actually crossing fingers for another Gunrunning/Smuggler's Run situation - the former's dripfeed ends and the latter releases the immediate Tuesday after.

A great week for me, I love survivals and can't wait to try these. A real throwback, and along with how R* have added to regular racing this year, and things like bonuses on robbing stores and the like. It's been a good year for me here really. (Though busier IRL ).

 

Six years though, blimey. I know I'll not play RDRO or probably anything as keen for so long. Flaws and complaints aside, there's definitely some magic about this game that I don't think will be replicated, at least for me.

 

And a huge thanks to all here for only making it all that much better, especially folk like our weekly host here looking to help all, no matter who, how, why, or when. Thanks @Volganor and all.

I'm kinda relived the Jugular wasn't released this week as I'm not 100% sold on it and I don't have a specific build in mind for it yet, but at the same time I'm disappointed that I have to wait for the Novak at least one more week ... Sigh, damn dripfeed.

 

I'll check the Survivals later, they're no walk in the park from what I heard.

Oh dear, I've been seriously thinking about getting and converting a Nero ever since Bugatti showed the Supersport 300+.

 

The funny thing is I sold my failed-Divo-attempt Nero custom to help pay for the Thrax when DC&R came out ... Talk about Seller's remorse, Grrr.

 

What's with the Declasse sale though? Are they having a wholesale? The strikes hurt them that bad?

My tip is to do these survivals in free aim with shotguns, pistols and basic weapons. Roleplay them like real survivals. There are better ways of making cash in GTA online, so have fun and roll back the years with grass roots GTA online, with no artificial props, loops or broomsticks.

Just remember, to get that free $1 million, you'll need to actually do something in order for the game's servers to record you logging in. Just logging in, walking around your property for a few minutes and then logging out won't register (words straight from the support 'help' from a previous instance of not getting a log in reward). So make sure you steal a car and sell it, or buy something, or anything that will make the game realize you're there.

These new Survivals are like the old ones on Bull Shark Testosterone. Love that the enemies move faster and that there's new vehicles but there are not many good places to camp. (Every level is Legion Square)

Best spot I found so far is Farmhouse. To the right of the stairs on the second floor is pretty OP but eventually you have to go out and deal with vehicles.
