I've found that if you're using wi-fi at all, you're f***ed. You'll still get occasionally errors using a ethernet cable, but far less.

The PvP server system seems to give the middle finger to anyone who lags, sooner or later.

Dealing with R* support is just an exercise in frustration.

 

You tell them specifically that all of your ports are forwarded. You're hard wired with brand new cables. Your connection is rock solid and zero issues with any other application. Your DNS is already set to their suggested settings.

 

And they respond with a copy/ paste forward your ports message. Ugh.

 

Tell them again that ALL of their suggested settings are done. They still think the issue is on your end and request speed test results, ping test results, trace routes, etc. Etc.. Of course, all show a rock solid internet connection...

 

So they then send you a copy/ paste telling you to forward your ports... and around and around we go.

This thread is a good example that any complaint about this game eventually game devolves into RDO is free bonus argument.  I am sure the vast majority of players have thought the title of this thread, but there is the B&M thread for venting.

There is no purpose, should've been locked already. 

 

What I don't understand is these "one hit wonders" that join the community, start a pointless thread (cause they dont know where the bitch and moan section is) and then they are never to be seen again! Same thing happened last week.
