Ive just about had it with all the bs in this game, constant disconnects every 10 minutes, losing pelts and progress in the process, camps disappearing, missions bot working... I, along with thousands of other people PAID for this game, and it doesnt work, thousands of people buy gold bars, so funding cant be the issue.. none of these problems happen on GTA online so why should it happen here... DO SOMETHING PLEASE, or id like my money i paid refunded

The first step to making a successful complaint is to make sure you're complaining to the right person.

I feel your pain though. I've been trying to play for around three hours today and suffering with the same issues.

Your efforts would be better spent here, written constructively and with minimal rage.

I understand the venting. Been there, done that and will continue to do it.

I can tell you from personal experience that dealing with R* support regarding connection issues... well.... they are f*cking useless and you'll get the same cut and paste bullsh*t response blaming YOUR connection and YOUR internet (although 100% of other online games work flawlessly).

So scream into the void to feel better but know that they simply do not give a sh*t about your online experience and have shown no inclination to make it better.

(See also GTA V).

Yes, just a few thousand of us.

I agree with OP. On the other hand posting on gtaforums won't change anything though. You're knocking on the wrong door.

Also refund is highly unlikely. Because all these issues variably appear to affect some users more than others. You get folk saying everything works "perfectly fine" when there is literally some of us that seem to be unable to even access basic features.

Read some guy in support forums who claimed that each time he boots up Rdr his game will shut down and give the famous blue screen error 0034 something on his PS4 therefor closing down app ever since he installed latest patch.

Tldr; take it to support or call Sony or maybe your ISP even.

You do realize that an ergo decedo is not a valid counter-argument, right? This is not just directed at you, or just the people who liked your post, but to everyone in both the GTA and RDR fandoms who retorts to that mentality whenever someone expresses their frustration with the game being unplayable. It's not only juvenile, it also reeks of blind tribalism and ruins the quality of discussion.

The game has been developed for years alongside RDR2, and has been active for nearly a year now. We shouldn't keep experiencing the same issues we had update after update, patches after patches that each amass gigabytes in size, especially not from game developed by a company that owns the most profitable piece of entertainment in history and avoids paying its fair share in taxes while getting tax cuts it doesn't deserve.

Should the OP have directed this at Rockstar directly? Yes, of course, but that doesn't mean they can't post about it here as well. Cease your ill-mannered behavior at once, all of you.

Rockstar has advertised RDO alongside RDR2 way before the official release, so not only did everyone know RDO would be a thing, you’re essentially paying for access to both singleplayer and multiplayer content as you can’t access one without the other.

This free add-on bullsh*t argument needs to be put six feet under.

You can access single player without multiplayer (an internet connection) so that's bullsh*t right off the top.

You paid for a game and got a game, which you will always have access to. It would be disingenuous to ask for a refund because you're unsatisfied with the online game, when you still have the full single player game.

The price is more than fair for just the single player game, especially when you compare it to online only titles like Anthem or Fallout 76.

If you have a disc copy then go return it to the store. Otherwise shush.

Go over and open a window, stick your head out, and then yell:
" I'm mad as h&$$, and i am not going to take this anymore"

The results will be the same as contacting R*. The game will remain broken, but you may feel better.

Purchasing a copy of the game, whether physical or digital, entitles you to both RDR2 and RDO as they’re both shipped together by Rockstar, regardless of you have internet connection or not. You cannot, and since I have to repeat myself twice to bootlickers, cannot buy one without the other.

Players are entitled to a refund for a game they have purchased since RDO is, once f*cking again, part of the package. The bulk of its support still comes from people who purchase the game, more so than the people who buy the gold.

The term of price “fairness” is irrelevant. They could have gotten the game for a hefty discount, and they’re still entitled to seeing the product at its best shape by the Terms & Service and file complaints if they’re unsatisfied.

And, once AGAIN, your ergo decedo posts aren’t valid arguments. Telling someone to shut up and leave, or to suck it up and stay is fallacious, toxic, and just plain ignorant. No matter how hard you try to lick that boot, no matter how much you love the taste of shoeshine in your mouth, customers are entitled to having a functioning product they have paid for, and they paid for both RDR2 and RDO.

I will not be repeating myself.

You can throw around all the childish insults you want, but you're still completely wrong. You're not repeating yourself, but changing what you said. The only one being toxic here is you, but you are clearly too entitled to ever see that.

If we follow your flawed logic, then everyone who bought GTAV or RDR2 should be entitled to a full refund years from now when Rockstar eventually closes the servers. We no longer have access to what we paid for, so.....

But we won't get that refund, because that's not how it works.

If you have any further questions, or find any other simple concepts that you have trouble wrapping your small mind around, feel free to consult the terms of service you agreed to by playing RDO.

Just because you cannot access Online without SP, does not then mean that if you're unhappy with RDO, you're entitled to a full refund of the game.

If Online falls short of your expectations, then that's too bad but you still have a functioning SP.

Unless SP refuses to start or you've paid real money for gold bars in Online and didn't receive them, for instance, R* don't owe you anything.

this ^

However, if R* feels like you have a case and indeed submits a full refund to you, then I'll be surprised but accepting.

^^ That, lol.

It's totally frustrating to be in the mood/zone and it all go tits up. It's good to vent though. Do love the B&M threads indeed!

Ain't no one getting a refund though, lol. 🤣🤣🤠

Excuse me, but I wasn’t the one here trying to shut down people and deny them from expressing their issues with a flawed product they have paid for, were I? You keep trying to argue that RDO and RDR2 are separate games, even though they’re literally shipped in the same package AND were advertised alongside each other, and they cannot be possessed separately. Your denial cannot silence consumer rights.

And lets go back to the arguments above. It wasn’t me who first mentioned refunds, but rather, it was you who did. I should have noticed earlier that you were shifting the argument somewhere away from my original point, not sure if it was intentional or just plain defensive fanboyish impulsiveness getting the better of you, but it’s still rather dishonest of you to do.  To reiterate what I said, those who bought the game are entitled to be concerned with its quality, and since Rockstar is so desperate to follow the “games as a service” model so badly like every other developer, you are entitled to a good service, something which Rockstar hasn’t delivered with the constant disconnects and black screens and soft locks that haven’t been solved since RDO became active. And that entitlement will persist as long as the service is active, no matter if it’s 2019 or 2029.

That is how it works in the real world, friend. Paying admission into something doesn’t mean you should suck it up, or lick the boots harder thinking that’ll change anything, it means that you should get the quality service you expected when you paid for it. The price of admission is a copy of the game, and that service is a functioning story AND a functioning multiplayer. The latter isn’t some dessert free on the house, you paid for it and deserve it.

And if you could kindly take that boot out of your mouth and gain basic literacy skills, you’d be able to read the terms and realize that Rockstar does indeed owe its customers a functioning product, and that said product includes singleplayer and online functions. Not one half, but both, and all that’s expected of us is not to exploit the gold system or redistribute the game illegally.

Unless if you want to provide a substantial counter-argument instead of regurgitating your posts, do not bother replying, I’ve already told you that I won’t repeat myself.

All I know is if they don't fix these disconnects "due to a fault on rockstar game services"...they're gonna lose players.

They need to fix the connection issues and damn glitches everywhere mainly. It's been a year since release and it still plays like sh*t.

It amazes me how lazy they've become since around 2012.

RDR1 had Undead Nightmare out 5 months after release!

They need to stop fingering their anuses and get a f*cking move on

So then take all that stupid nonsense you tell here to the real world and sue Rockstar for refunding you. I sincerely wish you good luck.
