Big Gangster Mod - CR Edition

Hello y'all! I'm here to announce you the Big Gangster Mod - CR Edition. What does CR stand for? Complete Revamp. That's right, this is not the same thing as the old buggy one. Instead of having a fartillion of model per one gang, you have more than 40 new gangs that spawn in their respective territories, carry unique guns and ride their cars. The developement of this thing started ages ago in 2014-2015. What's new?

 

-The two unused gangs now become the Russian Mafia and the Bikers.

-GSF, Aztecas, Triads and Bikers are friendly to each other.

-Added 68 (no pun intended) new gangs and sets of various gangs, using a rezone method mastered by @ric-013 and @OrionSR, each with 3-4 peds per gang.

-Added 39 new weapons (special thanks to @Wakka387 for teaching me how to add new weapons, I used his Additional Weapon Spawn V2 to add them in).

-Three Families sets, the Seville Boulevard, Temple Drive and Santa Maria Families are friendly, but unrecruitable prior to the events of Reuniting The Families. Upon completion (or forceful takeover via glitches/savegame editors etc.) their territories will change from Azteca Blue to GSF Green and these sets will become recruitable. Thanks to @Rocky24pl for helping with this script.

-The Admiral is now used by the Front Yard Ballas as their third gang car.

Ooooh, I likey. Question, does this by any chance does what Blue's old Venturas gang mod does? (Makes it so the Mob families in Venturas actually have Forelli, Leone and Sindacco 'soldatos' and not just a single homogenous group of mobsters to rep them all)

Indeed it does :) the old Mafia gang remains and controls large territories, however you can find the Forellis, Leones and Sindaccos in their own turfs too. They all use the same gang slot so I couldn't have them spawn together though. You can consider the original Mafia gang as just "Cosa Nostra" or a collective outfit of various Italian mafiosi.

You're making me reeeeeeeeeal happy with this. BTW, hows the mod looking conflict side? What kinda mods should I watch for in case it starts to have problems when it releases? Just to get a general idea, I'm not too much of a tech guy. Gonna download the mod and try it out soon, I'll probably review it, give criticisms and such.

Oh cool, thanks ;) well conflicts, it surely will conflict if you have new cars, peds or weapons added, so be careful. I'm currently running this + some CLEO scripts and everything is working fine.

Sorry for double-post, but a fix has been released!

 

Fixes:

-A crash caused by an invalid weapon ID in Commerce.


Just redownload the mod on the OP (only the ExtraSpawn.cs file is altered) if you didn't download the old one. If you did download the old one, remove the old ExtraSpawn.cs and replace it with this!

If you can make a map with all gangs names ,  they are so many and I have no idea what gang I am seeing

I could, but it would be difficult to cramp them all onto one map. I may make multiple maps in the future.

Original Fierro Heights Families ;) a Grove set that was native to SF before the events of GTA SA. @Ratoncillo aka Daniel L.C. made 2 of them :D

That'd be nice. A map or list with all gang names.

..Especially with backstories like these that we wouldn't know by just playing the mod.

it's something strange what you say, cleo 4 only detects me 3 cleo scripts, is that normal? I don’t know if I installed the mod correctly

That is strange indeed, something must be blocking it. I had this happen on my SAxLCxVC copy of the mod as well.

This looks really cool.Can't wait to see it when it's done.

 

If I can make a suggestion about the Cobra biker gang,they could have turfs in Palomino Creek and Fort Carson, ride Freeways and Wayfarers (and maybe drive Hotknifes,I feel like an old school hotrod would fit them), and carry Micro SMGs and Sawed Off Shotguns.

Palomino Creek is occupied by the Orangeville Mob but the Bikers have turf in many other areas as well. Fort Carson has quite a bunch of gangs including the Bikers, and they ride Freeways, Wayfarers and PCJ-600's and carry TEC-9's and MP5's ;)

Realy interesting mod, but some peds look quite bad to be honest (as in the previous version too). If you'll find someone who can make good peds and would work with you it would be really cool.

If you think any ped looks bad, then feel free to just replace them with something else. I don't think I will replace any skins in this one, I spent a lot of time on many of them and it's just my vision ;) I'm thinking of improving some but I don't think I'll make any gigantic changes. I know that one of the San Fierro Main Drag Families members has a bugged necklace and that one of the Balla Killa Families members will need to be replaced though.

I do like the fact that most of those OFH members look well in their 40's and 50's, as they are an older set with less gang wars to decimate their numbers. 

 

Oh and I accidently fried my San Andreas copy again, gonna have to reinstall and put your thing on a clean next time. 

 

Remember kids, don't mix TC mods, or your game explodes.

Yeah, this mod may often conflict with others because the ped/weapon ID's are VERY sensitive because the CLEO scripts depend on them.
