Licensed Bounty Hunters who complete The Wolf Man Legendary Bounty at any difficulty level will be rewarded with an exclusive red colorway of the fur lined Red Strayhorn Boots, retrievable within 48 hours of completing the task, in the wardrobe under the ‘Boots’ section.

Rewarded as in its for free or just unlocked for us to purchase? If we don’t collect in 48 hours is it lost forever or can we repeat the 5 star and get another 48 hours?

The boots should be given to you for free. I haven’t checked my actual inventory, but when I was playing today I randomly got the little notification on the right side of the screen that I was given the boots. So you shouldn’t have to collect it, it works like the free shirts in GTA

My strategy for non-bear situation is throw bolas on him before they get alert, fast kill both wolves, and put him in the horse. Also, my 2 LeMat revolvers with express rounds and lvl 3 dual gun ability card, kill wolves in 1 shot.

Hope after these 10 legendary bounties R* make these boss missions spawn at random on bounty boards.

I don’t have them. Checked my wardrobe and there and they were not there, checked the catalog and there was nothing there either so I spent $159 to buy a pair to see if that colour would then unlock but again nothing.

They said it could take up to 48 hours after completing the bounty (at any level, it doesn't have to be 5 star) so I would wait it out a bit longer to see if you get them

Ah gotcha! I read it wrong and thought it meant we had 48 hours to retrieve it.

Attack/Combat Card

Gunslinger’s Choice:

While dual-wielding, you deal more damage and are more accurate

Am I missing something here? I have 3 passive cards. When I click on one I press RB to highlight the option that looks like a cross hair symbol (combat abilities) but I don't see one called Gunslinger's choice.

Hmmm, I see you use L1 and R1. Is this for PS4 only? I am on Xbox..

ETA: Or Ultimate edition? Think I just got the base game (pre-ordered).

Yeah, maybe. Do you have 20/20/20 on roles? Samson club and outlaw pass completed? Don't know if there is something unlocking cards

Yes and player level 107, I think all unlocks finish at 100? I googled now I have the name of the card and it seems to be a PS4 exclusive that Xbox players never got.

I only have 7 choices under combat abilities,so it seems we didn't get a replacement either. I wonder why that is?

Shame because I have just started using dual Schofields and it sounds like something I could have used.

I have the base pre-order game too, probably is something available for PS4 but will be soon on Xbox. Man, you'll love this card, I'm finishing some hideout gangs in 20-30 sec with twin LeMats without reloading, 1 shot 1 kill on enemies.

quick question:

If I play the first 3 difficulties solo as posse leader, is it possible to replay them from difficulty 1 again when my buddy comes home and opens HIS posse as posse leader?

Cards really make combat against NPC's useless in this game.

Express ammo already kills any NPC in two hits so adding "much more" damage on top of that combined with auto-aim just makes it pointless.

is there a method/tutorial for grinding this mission ?

some tips, hints, etc.

I heard, if you reach the wolfman from "another" side, the wolfs wouldnt attack. Then I saw another player, standing on a rock, shooting wolfes, which couldnt attack him.

Agreed.

Took me all of three minutes, I killed all his Woves and then he charged me with no weapon so I Hogtied him and was done.

Same here I see some others spawned far away. I spawned it right near him. Found him at his camp int the first yellow search area. Took minutes. Hopefully as the level goes up it gets harder

Tip #1: Tracking Arrow serves a purpose in this mission. Hit Wolfman with one and he'll barely be able to walk rather than run a billion miles per hour. This allows you to put 100% attention on escaping/killing wolves. Make sure not to hogtie Wolfman immediately. It causes the slowdown effect to be removed.

Tip#2: If you somehow get bucked off your horse and fighting too many wolves at once. Simply, find yourself high ground such as the barrels/crates you see near Wolfman or use a nearby boulder. Lake Isabella also has water you can fool wolves by swimming in and causes wolves to slow down to swim after you. This makes wolves very easy to kill.

Tip#3 Shooting any gun with the wolves unable to attack will scare them away so you can easily hogtie him and escape.

Shotgun incendiary rounds will one-shot both of the grizzlies in this mission. It’s a small but welcome timesaver.

Is it worth throwing molotovs at them?

Naw. There's so many ways to deal with the wolves. The best way I think is to take wolfman to the abandoned town with no name. There you can stand on the ore carts and easily kill all the wolves. I used double LeMats and hipfire headshotted them all for the Free Aim + Eyes Wide Shut bonuses.

Do you mean at the bears, if you don’t have incendiary rounds?

Haha! I personally wouldn’t use Molotovs on the wolves, because they move so fast and will be around the bounty a lot (and you don’t want to set fire to him accidentally).

For the bears, they take a bit of punishment, so the incendiary slug taking them down in one shot is useful. Fire arrows would probably have the same effect, but they’re slower and you really wouldn’t want to miss. And the Molotovs would have the same problem as the fire arrows, but X2 :)

The first bear you could probably take down with a Molotov no worries though, it’s mostly stationary and away from the bounty if you approach it from the North side and make a beeline for it.

the mission was piece of cake until I found wolfman. he fled from the grizzly, and I couldnt auto aim the bear because, he was hardlocked as f*ck...the bear killed him and I closed the game... any tipp here?
