frick180
Obviously the point of being a VIP, MC President, or CEO is to have the game make you money. That's great and all, but for whatever reason it is the most confusing thing in the world. After looking into numerous strategies, I have opted to buy supplies for any business in order to prevent production from stopping and make revenue in other parallel activities. Therefore, I have been buying supplies for all of the MC businesses and the gunrunning business. Today, I just hired my fifth technician for my nightclub who is responsible for accruing goods for my new meth lab. After initially setting up the meth lab, the supplies level was at 100%. After checking in on it an hour later, the supplies level has dropped to 0% and the stock is valued at $17,000. How can this make sense if it costs $75,000 to resupply any of the MC businesses?! This logic seems to suggest that no matter what, if I resupply the business I will lose $58k without even taking into consideration sell success. I guess my question is, was some of this stock moved to the nightclub? Also, are these businesses still locally accruing stock locally while I'm a CEO? Because for whatever reason, I need to retire as a CEO and start a MC in order to control any local aspect of the MC businesses. I'd like to think that as a CEO, I can make money doing all of the things an MC president and a VIP can do simultaneously. Timsalabimbo
Have you got the upgrades for the MC businesses? Because it looks like you don't. Upgrading staff and equipment makes sure you need fewer supplies for more product. Also, the nightclub technicians don't fill up your businesses, they fill up the nightclub warehouse with goods related to the businesses they are connected to. The MC businesses will continue to make stock whilst you are registered as a CEO. And CEO businesses and MC businesses are two seperate entities in game, so that is why you have to register as MC president to control your biker businesses. Coffee Grinder
In addition to Timsalabimbo's answer the MC supplies only accrue for MC biz. The NC produce on their own as long as a technician is assigned. No suppies are needed. You might do a STEAL supplies run for Meth lab just to see what happens. It's been a while so I dont remember how much I got for my 1st batch when I did setup. If its the same 17k maybe you made a mistake about purchasing them. Airwolf359
Do not buy supplies until you have the equipment upgrade in your meth lab (or any other business). Without the equipment upgrade you need twice as much supplies for same amount of product, so it will cost too much, and you could indeed run at a net loss. After you have equipment upgrade, also get the staff upgrade for faster production speed. Both upgrades also increase the value of your product. Security upgrade is up to you. It does not increase production but it delays raids. Raids will still happen but less frequent, and only if you have a certain amount of product inside. If you plan to buy supplies once and sell when they run out (<50% product) you probably don't need it, if you like to sell the business when it is full, think about it.
