How do I stop getting killed?

I'm trying to do missions with close friends and people who I know and each second I keep getting blown up, I don't get a chance to even play the game, my car just explodes!

 

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me that's cursed?

First, the car needs an accelerant for it to blow up. It also needs ignition. Two things.

 

First question: what mission?

Follow up question: what is your level?

Last question: do you duck and take cover like you would in real life when someone is shooting at you.

Very last question: why are you always in your car?

We need more information before helping, you said you get blown up while doing missions but that's too vague.

Npcs can shoot sticky bombs out of your hands, so be careful if your using them in missions with stupid AI aim.

Are you on PC? Might be modders blowing you up. If on console then I'd say it happens but not as often as you described.

 

Oh wait.. did you happened to climb Mt.Chiliad and saw the alien painting??? That thing is cursed...

What kind of lobby?  If public could b the orbital cannon, sniper.  If you’re in a invite only it’s your “friends” f*ckin with you.

Almost certainly you are experiencing d-bags trolling in the oppressor mk2 (flying bike)

 

as as a low level you prob can only go passive to avoid.   But def u don't want to be in a vehicle it can lick onto

That's the ones who keep killing! They're all higher levels, got flying vehicles and keep blowing me up! 

 

One of them actually stopped and befriended me though, he turned out to be a cool guy and we do heists together but damn those other high level players are crazy! I had to use solo session a lot recently because I can't stop being killed! One killed me after I helped them with a mission, they took my money and my vehicle. 

 

I like to be in public sessions because not all high level players are like that, some are fun and play fair.

what the one two posts above says..,

there are ways to make a public session only have you in it.., as well as some which allow your friends to join..,

idk how it works by heart on ps4.., but someone else can elaborate for you..,

 

edit: there are also crews in which you can join to do stuff with..,

but they are either strict beyond belief..,

or have no life..,

it's better to make more friends and run together..,

That is GTA Online Gamer, there is no escaping the MK II's homing Missile.  Once you get to buy one you will probably end up doing the same.  For now because ur level is low you have to be mind full of ur surrounding.  Don't hold too much money in ur hand.  Also go passive in open lobbies if ur not doing any missions.  One thing that also might help you is expanded radar.  It will show you if anyone is coming toward you on a bigger scale.

No it does NOT get better. Dumbstar refuses to fix their screw ups and op vehicles. Be Glad you're not on pc, it's far worse.

Why are you calling me a dumbstar? What screw up have I made? Unlike other players, I don't use mods, I play the game like a normal player, I don't feel the need to cheat. As for my vehicle, it's actually a pretty good high end sports car. I don't understand why low level players are hated so much.

Grind : solo public session (look it up via google)

Heist : invited only session

Forced pub session(usually after heist finale) : enable passive mode

4fun : git gud level up stats and lv
