will add a 7th stable slot and pick one up tonight.

 

I purchased both the Criollo "O" and the Mealy Dapple Breton.

Out of the two the Criollo, is my favorite. A little skittish; but quick and sturdy. The Breton, will become my hunting horse, took some time getting use to her (bulky) - some WoW looking sh!t. (c) Leroy Jenkins

 

However, fast and can plough down wolves and Skinner Brothers, like a tractor through a corn field.

 

Discarded, my Tiger Striped Mustang, to make room for it. No regrets.

Im looking at that Breton just need a few more levels to gain, Also got the top Criolla and Flabrubar and love alongside my old MFT Turk Nakata and Black Arabian 

 

MFT is still the best one i have Temerement wise

My Kladruber convinced me the other day it's now my favorite horse. 

 

When it killed one of two cougars that attacked me I was like, "well that was cool."  When it didn't buck me off during a grizzly charge that ended with the bear skidding to a dead stop at the horses feet I was like " phew, if I was on my other horses I'd probably be dead".  

 

But yesterday when it noticed a cougar before I did and literally charged the cougar to attack it before it came at me or I knew what was going on.. I was like "okay, that is one badass horse!".

I have the black Kladruber and it's a big, strong horse. While it's not the best in speed and acceleration, it doesn't shy away from danger. The big thing I've noticed too is that it's not afraid to take big jumps over some pretty sizable cliffs/drops. It's jumped down cliffs my other two horses wouldn't have even gotten close to

It's not quite as small as an Arabian, and the stockier build helps defuse any "kiddie pony" concerns. And it's a nice looking horse.

 

Speed and handling, about identical to the MFT.

 

BUT....

 

I hate this horse. HATE this horse. I got him to level 4 bonding and a few days after before making any judgements. I think it has brain damage as it sometimes refuses to turn, or to negotiate a small pebble, or jump over a very low obstacle. It'll fall down / spill over a 6 inch drop. And it is a COWARD. Everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - scares the hell out of it. A snake 200 yards away? Horse has a conniption. Forget the larger predators. Even gun fire a decent distance away causes it to get skittish. Gun fire close by? It'll bolt and refuse to come back. It even bucked me off because people were shooting at me. Easily the biggest scaredy cat of all my horses.

 

Maybe I got a lemon?

This is why I think there's hidden stats we don't know about.

 

My Criollo when I got it, was skittish. But the other day, it was all bravado.

My Turko was a boss when I got it, the other day, kind of a wuss.

My MFT has always been a wuss, the other day, it didn't bat an eye from wolves.

And my white Arabian...the most skittish thing ever... attacked by a grizzly, didn't even complain.

 

 

Meanwhile, Breton, big ass war horse.

I swear there's SOMETHING going on. The more you have a horse out, the easier it spooks after a while?

Maybe the horses need to be stabled for a while and then taken back out into the world.

Good looking horse, decent speed. But a backstabber as soon as the morning breeze hits him. Ugh.

It's acceleration is almost top of the list (9/10 fully upgraded) but speed isn't the best, that said I've found with its acceleration it still outruns most horses out there on most of the twisty roads and with its max health and stamina and general bad mofo attitude I've experienced much of what you said.  

 

The horse is a badass.  I have done Wolfman bounty solo multiple times on this horse and stayed mounted without it so much as rearing up or bucking me off once.  It's not concerned in the least.  Makes soloing that bounty cake.  

 

I've had it kill two cougars, both times while I was unmounted.  Once it just stayed by my side and fought with me, the other time it charged the damn cougar to attack it before I even saw the cougar. 

 

I also got the dark dapple coat, and with the skull mask (covers its funny nose up), black and white saddle combo, etc.  It just looks awesome and is my favorite horse now.

I got the black one as well. Sadly the speed isn't the best, and it seems to go even slower if there is snow around; but that's okay. The main thing is that it's fearless as absolute f*ck!

 

Had 3 huge gray wolves right on her ass, during the 5* legendary bounty hunt. Didn't get bucked from her during it. (only time I got bucked is when I shot a wolf....)

Bought one of the level 20 Bounty hunter horses today A Breton and very impressed its a big bodied brute with a slightly short leg but fearless in in the 5Star wolfman and that was at bonding level 2

I Brought all 3 rank 20 horse i brought the Kladruber Sliver coat , Criollo bay frame overo and the Breton Mealy dapple bay coat. Now my thoughts are the Criollo is my new race horse i have win so many races with her and the breton is awesome in combat really is and the kladruber i never use but i love her , and TIP when u race the criollo the rank 20 one make sure u put the Nacogdoches saddle on her as her States max with it

Ignore speeds its broken mine keeps up with MFT and Arabians but not quite as quick of the mark, Well worth the 2300 dollar i paid for it with all the extras Its not as big as the shires bit short in the leg so height wise not massive but has a thunderous deep neigh. Im sure youi will like it, I have 7 horses and this is now joint favorite my Trotter

Speed specs are still broken Tested all high end horses IE Arabians Turks Trotter Chiolla Breton and Flubruber ans all same top speeds although when your on your own the graphics do make you feel that speed perspective has been sorted but i can unfortunately confirm there still broken

And not even at max bonding I see!  That's what I've experienced too.  I think that one shot may have grazed it and it was already a little stressed from spending minutes with wolves surrounding it, lol.    But other than that, it's just a badass.

hi everyone i need some advice about getting a new horse. i hope it is okay that i write this here. so i am currently looking for a new horse. i have more than enough money to buy any horse i want. and you might say just buy an arabian or mft. but the thing is for my online experience. i usually like to own things that are online only. i do this in gta online too. like i use the lemat and evans as my main weapons. except i use bolt action for pvp. and pump action shotty. same thing with clothing i usually like to wear clothes that are not in singleplayer. so the same is with horses. the only horses i have now are the red chestnut arabian. and the perlino andalusian. i got both free. and im looking to get a new horse. im mostly just looking for a speedy horse. i know some horses are good about not getting spooked. but im just looking for a good fast horse. and not any of the old ones in singleplayer. so any advice is appreciated. thanks.

The Criollo is the fastest of the new horses. Too small for my taste, and the coats are not my favorite, but there ya go.

 

Unrelated: It's a damn shame how they went and made 4/6 coats for each breed useless....I'd probably buy a Kladruber if I could get Cremelo in a top tier version.

thanks for the info. so do different coat colors affect their stats? or is it just cosmetic?

Coat should of being something we can select like gender, with stats being the same across the breed. Change My Mind...

I did the same tests some time ago. All horses malnourished and same saddles and stirrups. Can't remember which one. I got the same results.

 

Pleeeeease prove us wrong though, cause R* oughta know better than making all horses the same in a freaking cowboy game

Makes sense to me. Stats based on breed, price based off the coat within the breed.

This is bugging me alot as well. I bought a dun criollo. But its a low tier criollo. And even tho I love the look of it, its not the best horse to ride. Ive stabled it for now and is using my other horses.

 

I want a kladruber, but I cant even consider 4/6 coats, because Im buying it for its qualities. So even if I should like a different coat, in this purchase Im going to look at the top tier coats alone.
