Not so much that RDR means zombies per say, but to me, RDR can mean horror, as I feel enough of that premise has come over from RDR and UN into the main franchise with RDR2, Much like how bikers/The Lost and nightclub/bar ownership followed over into GTA from the episodes, that it's all part of each franchises folklore to me. Though I do appreciate the stories from GTA IV tied into the main while UN was more a seperate standalone fantasy game (although we can play the episodes as standalone too with how R* released those separately too). But with RDR2's story having horror elements, there's so much room for it to become more cannon/folklore too. Characters like Seth from RDR last is a good example of horror elements in the last game that I liked. (And the survival aspect of UN we had that's only grown here really add to that IMO). I just feel to do a fully deep and proper Undead Nightmare Part 2 here, if they did, it should have a few zombies, and that horror can naturally mean zombies, lol. Especially when its a nod to UNDEAD NIGHTMARE. Everyone I know would love a Halloween event with zombies. If R* does an Undead Nightmare type of event for Halloween, that would be f*cking awesome. And you can't get it up for that, then you can go play another game. As has been suggested, I just won't play it. I just don't want to see zombies shoehorned into the main game. Werewolves, vampires, robots, aliens, bigfoot, mermen, whatever. If it's done right could be interesting but too often zombies are just a lazy hoard mode and I don't see any reason for them over people. It is a visual bug, the eye texture aint loading properly so it comes out as green: The standing dead bodies glitch has been a thing since day one, pair that with a texture not loading and you gonna have a lot of fans hyping themselves up for an update that will never arrive. They are also the exact same color as the Undead Nightmare logo, which is weird. I might be wrong, but I really don't think it is a missing texture. It's also only happening with dead npc's, so no living npc's feature those eyes. Or has it been just with NPCs that are already dead, such as the body the random dog encounter might lead you to. Just before the last update the dead bodies in the on the hunt mission's would stand up if you shot them. Couldn't kill them, but could still investigate and loot the bodies. Weird as f*ck honestly. Would be awesome to see what happend in blackwater before the story starts or maybe with sadie or another character after the ending. Undead nightmare was fun for one play but it was also really repeative and tiresome at some points and yeah i would enjoy "normal" story dlc much more. I just don't really feel this zombies in wild west mix, but if rockstar games did zombie/apocalypse game taking place in modern day or future, I would be totally hyped. ,,but if its undead dlc then i will still play it ofcourse. edit: or they could just redo the first rdr "John Marstons story" and the first undead nightmare with it with these new better graphics.
