Reset stats? Start over?

Is there any way that Racing stats can be reset? I have been racing for a few years, and have 2800 wins and 4800 losses ( yes I know I suck) but no one wants to race with me now due to these stats or it just becomes awkward. I am willing to start my whole game over but from what I hear that wont even help. Anybody have any ideas?

Start a 2nd char.  You should start with a 0 wins/loss. You’ll have to get your stat bars built back up but at least you’ll have $$ for the cars you want. And a low rank to boot.

No, the win/loss count carries over between characters. I think it goes by the account record.

'Tis true. I share an account with my wife and our racing stats/ K/D are all shared.

Whywontyoulisten got it right.  You have to start a new account. Creating a 2nd character will start you at level 1 but your stats are still there. I just recently did 2nd character.  Hoped for starting easy on races to get unlocks.(Personal best lap times for some LS Customs) not happening.  Too many Shotaro records.

switch between race types. i think rally races could work too, they have no stats, so you beat personal records all the time. user created races might work as well.

Really? That's interesting. I've never had a problem and am closing in on 10,000 races. I just join random lobbies though.

Ok, I may be exaggerating a bit when I say no one wants to race with me but I do get booted a lot and honestly, it just feels uncomfortable to be racing people who have just 100-200 races under their belt. I was just hoping that there was some sort of way to reset, start over. Not the end of the world though. Just curiosity.

Don't give up the stuff you payed in game money for, no matter how you got it, shark cards or otherwise, lol.
