To you, what is the best character ever created by Rockstar Games? Including all games from the first to the last. I want to know which one is best for you, in the personality/intelligence/attitude, that is, the most f*cking character! Without involving idolatry please.. For example "the most famous" and etc.. I also want to know a reason why such a choice. I'm new in this forum, so if I did something wrong in this topic, sorry! Show me how to do with the right way! He's a GTA protagonist with an attitude, not a blank state a la Claude, not annoying a la GTAV protags, not (as) inconsistent as CJ, etc. I would consider Max Payne, but I didn't play MP3 and I'm not sure if the first two count as Rockstar games. I would say Max Payne, but originally he was a creation of Remedy, but I like his MP3 iteration. Anyway Niko's just brilliant because he feels like he has a soul and isn't written to be some macho meathead with a superiority complex. Honorary mentions include (but aren't limited to) Claude, Tommy Vercetti, Johnny Klebitz, Luis Fernando Lopez, Arthur Morgan, and John Marston in no particular order. As far as NON playable characters go, I'd go with Little Jacob, Roman Bellic, Clay Simons, Terry Thorpe, Jim Fitzgerald, Patrick McReary, Dutch van der Linde, Hosea Matthews, and SO many others! I really felt for him in a way I still don't think I do with most other Rockstar characters. Dan Houser/R* may not have been the ones responsible for the writing of LA Noire. Like, people don't really call NIko NB or Trevor TP even though they're called that in game a few times, but Carl's universallly known as CJ. i find that cool for some reason. OT : Of the games I've played, John Marston and Michael De Santa have been the most impactful characters for me,while Tommy Vercetti remains my personal favourite.
