"To improve stability issues". After installing, I spawned back in and was back where I was last night with camp in same place. Hopefully it addresses camp, wildlife and XP/$ issues. ALifeOfMisery Posted September 18, 2019 Share Posted September 18, 2019 (edited) The download on PS4 was much smaller, it does seem, so far, to have fixed my camp moving, as for bugged bounty missions, it hasn't fixed anything for me, still can't start one without a black screen. Before the update, when using the character editor, the beta characters always looked a bit different than the updated faces. It was still possible to make a good looking character, but if you for instance followed a guide on Youtube, your character would end up looking a little different if it was made during the beta. This should be fixed now. The problem that many people are reporting now however, is that the update botched up their faces - most notably in the cheeks. My beta character has this problem as well. She went from: to: I'm not sure if Rockstar will compensate those who have this problem - maybe give them a voucher for a free character change. In any case, the bright side is that the faces are allegedly updated now. If your character was made in the first months of RDO, you might want to check out if your character got changed. I went from looking like a retarded Baldwin brother, to looking like a half black fat guy with pale dead eyes. I don’t know why it is so hard to make a decent character customisation tool. Buggy bounties be damned. This has made my entire day. I had been looking at character recipes recently, and was bummed that I couldn't recreate them. Not so much now. I changed one of my main characters in the editor and now after the patch his face is fat?? So I've wasted all my time and money on him and he's ruined. If he eats he'll get fatter. I'm done with this game if they don't undo this. P.S. it's not just him, but my other beta characters are also completely ruined. My guess is they will fix this. They have to. I just can't play my characters now, and no way I'm editing them. If I do, I'll never get em the same as they were. This is a good way to kill my interest in the game, good going R*. 4eyedcoupe Posted September 19, 2019 Share Posted September 19, 2019 This patch is horrible. 4 disconnect errors yesterday all as we were completing the 5 star Legendary Bounty. As soon as the bounty was turned in, disconnected. 4 times it did this, and the fifth time it kicked the player who turned in the bounty and left me there with 2 bounty bodies on the ground waiting to be turned in, so I got credit, but my friend did not. On top of the "fat" face my character now has that will cost me to change since I already used my free change. WTF R*.... I must have some crazy luck then because I've been swimming in animals to the point yesterday I stopped harvesting the bodies at different times. I have a full bar of materials at camp, my cart is full (waiting for space in materials to unload) and my horse was full. Which is good because I can hopefully drop my fixation on trader long enough to rank up collector more. There was one point I was laughing and showing my wife the screen because as I walked around trying to get my new metal detector to work there was a herd of dear all around me.
