The one I played where you have to round up bounties and drop them off is obviously not popular with many. It must have had at least 20 people in at the start and by the end only 6 were left. But the bounty ones are poo so maybe people just quit, Salvage is a great source of collectables and Trade Route is ez exp. They're all one life and you can't kill other players in them. Trade Route is entirely PvE where as Scavenge and the BH ones have a competitive element to them. Day of Reckoning isn't my cup of tea, the role XP payout is barely worth the time even if I was going to play it out of pragmatism. Salvage is good, get to keep the loot, lots of role and regular XP up for grabs. Can be very profitable. Trade Route is by far my favourite. Loads of regular XP on offer, my M.O. is getting at the front, Springfield loaded with express rounds and one shot NPC's. The 18 Trader units are good, the role XP is decent too. It's the same for all of the free roam events that don't involve killing and one reason that I don't think many are worth bothering with unless you find them a lot of fun. The xp for all of them could be increased a bit. Railroad Baron can be good for xp and can easily get you between 2000 and 3000 xp just from the killing alone. I like trade route, I'm just horrible at it no matter where I position myself. The extra 18 goods are nice though I really hope they add more. It'll be more fun when & if R* fixes the outlaws spawning improperly, outlaws that can shoot but not be shot, and having a five cent bounty upon returning to free roam after the event. No matter if I opt for free roam or one of the specific map areas like New Hanover etc. Or if I'm offensive v. defensive play style. Yesterday was the first time I got TWO invites. And they were for the same damned thing Hunting non existent animals around the map in a confined area. Player to animal spawn ration was something like 15 : 1. Completely worthless waste of time I've yet to see any invites to the other free mode events. Never mind the fact I've had that collector's letter sitting in my character's inventory for over a week now. RaigeGames Posted September 28, 2019 Share Posted September 28, 2019 (edited) Haven't done the BH ones yet as I'm only just now a high enough rank to receive them, but I really enjoy Salvage and Trade Route. You can pick up a lot of collectables in a short amount of time in Salvage which makes for great money and xp. Trade Route is my favorite since it's cooperative PvE and you get a decent reward for it. Had Trade Route glitch out the other day at the first stop where we were stuck in a cut-scene like screen but the game wouldn't progress. Instead of leaving, almost all of us stayed in the lobby and we all just ran around and took turns driving the train around the map until the timer ran out. Then when I called for my horse to get back on it got run over by said train. Is there a way to quit missions, outside of quitting to the menu? Any mission for that matter? I tried it for the first time over the weekend, and I enjoyed it a lot more than Manhunt. Unfortunately I was in the lead when it glitched out and wouldn’t let me capture any more bounties. The game seemed to think I still had a captured bounty that I needed to turn in, but I didn’t, so I just had to sit and wait for the timer to run down as my lead evaporated. Every time I thought I could get a kill in fourteen other people took a shot. Finished it with a whole one kills, so basically I didn't even have to spring for bullets with this event. Unfortantly it have glitched twice for me, one time we all spawned far away from the train and everyone died. Second time it just finished before starting...
