Got any weird habits?

I've had this weird one since a kid and don't know why, If I have a bottle of Elmers Glue around i'll put some on my hands, let it dry and then peel it off kind of like how a sunburn peels feels kind of good but weird when you peel it off.

I'm a scab picker/scratcher and it's usually not on purpose it'll itch and i'll scratch it not thinking and rip it and once it's ripped I have to finish it off

I have dry lips no matter what i've do nothing helps so the skin on my lips are flaky so if It's really flaky i'll peel it

99% of the time I'll drink warm soda/pop over cold even if there is a cold can/bottle i'll choose the warm one

I eat Pancakes, Waffles and/or French Toast with no butter or syrup

I'll eat pickles out of the jar with a fork as a snack

I'll dip celery directly into the peanut butter jar, We have a jar dedicated to soley dipping such as Celery, Banana's or Apples

I'll add more as I remember them

I tend to peel the skin of my lips, either with teeths or fingers.

Well as someone with OCD and Anxiety, asking me if I have any weird habits...oh boy, where do I begin

I constantly wash my hands, no matter what it is I touch. If it feels 'dirty' I have to wash my hands immediately. I always wash my hands before I play any video games and after I'm done.

I'm always biting and picking my finger nails off. My nails have got pretty bad sometimes because of this.

I pay for everything in cash, and only use gift cards to buy PSN and Netflix Memberships. I refuse to buy things online or use my card unless I have no choice. It gives me way too much anxiety.

I check the doors and windows at least 3-4 times when I go out or am going to sleep at night.

I vacuum and polish daily. I also can't leave out any dishes unwashed overnight or leave them in the sink for long. They have to be cleaned, before I do anything else.

I clear my email out everyday and check them everyday.

I often talk to my myself when thinking. I talk out what I'm going to do during the day. It's just one of those things that helps me cope better. Although if anything screws up my daily schedule, I can get really bad.

and many, many more..

I still live in the 80's. Movies, music, clothing from head to toe, colones, deodorants, you name it. Sounds weird but It's actually pretty compulsive. But I'm cool with that.

When I have fungus in my fat finger of the foot, I cut all the nail completely.

That's not a weird habit, that's a skill. I trust myself to change my oil a hell of a lot more than I would some dolt at jiffy lube.

I sometimes cut my fingers's skin(around the nail) with my nails in times that I'm thinking too much without even noticing.

-When playing a video game for the first time I test to see if I can pause the cutscene and squint really hard in anticipation and feel relived massively when I can.

-Whenever I pay for something with cash I always pay so I have to receive change. Even if it's an extra few cents. I seriously don't like just giving the correct amount and walking away lol.

-If I cross a street and there's a car waiting normally I'll walk behind it and never in front even if it's perfectly safe to do so.

-Since I have long hair I usually like to twirl it around my finger.

-The sound when my bones "crack" is soooo satisfying and is awesome after having a good night sleep and stretching in the morning.

-Any game I get that has a slip on case I keep. I'm a hoarder of those things and have a drawer full of them.

Does 'procrastinating only to later regret I was procrastinating' count as a weird habit? Because I was supposed to be studying calculus now (exam is next week), but here I am...

I affectionately pat things whenever I put them down.

I need to stop.

Well since I personally know many people that have no clue when their oil was last changed (and had other maintenance done), I consider it a habit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah same here. A lot of guys I've met recently don't even know what kind of engine their car has. Last week I saw some guy trying to figure out how to change his tire and I'm just like really dude? A shame really.

That's ridiculous. Speaking of tires, my girlfriend's roommate doesn't even know how to check the tire pressure, nor how to fill them up properly. Her ABS system has gone bad and her brakes as well.

People buying their first car shouldn't expect to become a mechanic themselves, but at least read up the basics of checking oils and fluids and inspecting their tires to make sure the car is running.

It's a shame to see people (particularly young like myself) ruining their cars due to the lack of maintenance, and then crying rivers because they either have to pay the mechanic a huge bill or buy a new used car. They won't have my pity.

Should have stuck to the bus.

I'm rather OCD when it comes to anything pertaining to my car.

The interior has to be spotless, every single fastener present has to be tightened to spec, just so I can sleep at night.

My house is all hardwood floors and sometimes I put on my old school roller skates while playing my arcade machines to simulate 1980s roller rink feelings.  Not really a habit but still...

Any paper money in my wallet has to be facing the same way and in proper order.

If I memorize how to drive somewhere, that is the path I will follow for life.  They can build a new highway that would cut the time and half and I'll still drive the old way I know.

I use fire from a lighter for hair removal from my ears and lower back.

I don't clip my finger and toe nails.  I've perfected a method of removing the tops of nails by hand.

Same here, and I do that even with "worthless" money that I like to keep in my wallet for luck.

I have a lot of weird habits with my dog.

For example I sometimes lay my dog on a side and do as if I was frenetically smelling his face, when he starts to grunt I imitate another animal like a cat or a goat so he stops grunting, then I pretend to smell him again and when he grunts again I'm always dead laugh and I stroke him to be kind.

I like to half fill my mug with hot water to warm it up, then pour the coffee in. After I've poured the hot water out of course.

I always put toilet paper on the seat even at home.

I wash my hands all the time, and sometimes shower twice a day.

I have to adjust all my clothing when sitting down or standing up.

A few more:

I can't watch a film without a drink or a snack. It feels unnatural and weird.

When I'm watching episodes on Netflix, the red bar needs to be completely filled on my watched episodes so I sit through the credits. Another OCD thing.

I always check my phone when I wake up. Mostly to see the time.

I do this too. Cleaning my car is the only thing I don't half assedly clean. When I decide to clean the hell out of my car, all the carpeting and velour upholstery gets thoroughly scrubbed with a brush and upholstery cleaner. I find that Maguires brand smells best. But I think I take cleaning a little further because about every two weeks or so I'll take a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a roll of paper towels and wipe down every surface I've touched. The radio, climate control knobs, shifter, steering wheel, door handles, window and door lock switches and any and all plastics. I even wipe down my cd cases. I also will not fart in my car, I'll hold it until I can stop somewhere because I strongly dislike odors in my car and velour likes to absorb smells. To the point that take out food goes in my trunk to both avoid the smell of it and avoid potential grease stains on my velour seats. I'm very uptight about what goes on in my car and who gets to ride in it. If you look greasy, sweaty, stinky you ain't getting a ride no matter how long I've known you. But that's not really a problem since the only real life friends I have left are both female and usually stay clean.

Some more...

-I routinely talk to myself. So much so I have longer engagements than I do when talking to other people. I've actually found it's a good stress reliever.

-I always clean out my inbox whether it's my messenger here or in my email. I can't stand messages that are days, weeks, months old if they've been left alone.

-If I've left a TV series for a long time even if I only have a couple of episodes left in the season I always go back to the beginning. I do the same with games. I don't like picking up an old save and just keep on playing unless it's a sports/racing game without a story.

I spit a little bit on every piece of toilet paper right before use. It's much softer for the ass like that. I could buy wet paper but my method is for free.

Another thing, also useful: I'm used to have some spider webs in the house. I never have flies or mosquitos in the house. My theory: It's just because of the spiders.

Reminds of that movie where Sigourney Weaver ( I think) played some vicious executive type who has to go in a public toilet and absolutely covers the seat with tissue.

Found that weirdly stimulating.
