Coleco
Howdy guys Try as I might, I can't seem to surrender to the law in RDO. Just wanted to complete some awards for another buckle and instead of a minor NPC brawl or two setting me up for some jail time, i'm still as free as a bird and must have slaughtered half the lawmen in the west out of self-defense by now. Lesser crimes still result in being gunned down. Online guides are no help as following their instructions seems to draw my weapon no matter what. So what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance! roggek
The mistake you do, is to not escaping out of the red circle, and thus "increase" your Bounty. You must have a high Bounty of RDO$20 or more for the other players Bounty hunters (not NPC Lawmen!) role to go after you (they get an invite), and if thats the case you can surrender. It's a form of PvP mission... Quote Eclipsing Bounty Hunter Rank 12 will open up the opportunity to take down other players with high bounties of $20 or more. Bounty Hunters will be notified through an invite about the opportunity to hunt down the wanted player when they’re nearby in a structured pursuit. The wanted player must escape (or surrender) within the allotted time and if captured, they’ll also have opportunities to escape and flee. If the Bounty Hunter brings the target in alive, they’ll receive an award while the criminal serves time. Coleco
Thanks for the reply That sounds like it's going to be quite difficult unless you have friends involved. If years of playing multiplayer games have taught me anything, it's that other players will always shoot to kill regardless of awards offered! Will try it with a posse sometime and see how it goes
Krommer
I'm 20 in all 3, but I've never seen a message about joining in on a single player bounty (this is playing for quite a few hours, over the course of the day (especially this last week when I was on "staycation." )) I think, in the case of this bounty, they'd be going for it to turn you in for the award they get (it is often a daily, like it was in the past two days.) So don't worry about getting killed; The trick would just be for you to stand there, so they can bring you in. This would be especially true when it was a daily ("bring in a player bounty.")
