Description:
This mod aims to make GTA IV more natural, less dark and more vibrant. My inspiration was the never released Icenhancer C by Icelaglace and Natural Vision Remastered by Razed for GTA V. I spent about 300 hours to make this mod. This mod was developed for GTA IV patch 1.0.4.0 but later I decided to add compatibility to patch 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 and also to EFLC. A lot of thanks to BisonSales and Icelaglace who helped me with some issues I had. Also thanks to Icelaglace again for his great Icenhancer 3.0 graphic mod. Without his mod this modified Icenhancer 3.0 version wouldn't be possible obviously. Big thanks goes to donnits who helped me to make iCEnhancer 3.0 compatible for patch 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 and EFLC.

About 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 and EFLC version:
It's not same as polished and beautiful like the 1.0.4.0 version but it works fine which was my only goal here so please don't complain when your game doesn't look same as good as on my shown screenshots. Foggy and lighting weather are both different in visuals compared to the 1.0.4.0 version but other weathers are almost identical. I still strongly recommend to use the 1.0.4.0 version if you want the best visuals.

Screenshots using iCEnhancer 3.0 Natural with patch 1.0.7.0: See here

Speaking of @BisonSales does anyone know what ever happened to his Autumn vegetation pack? Still unfinished I assume.

I don't have any plans to do it for EFLC/1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 because I would need to start all over again. I've edited the enbseries.ini, icenhancer_config.txt and the timecycle files from the default iCEnhancer 3.0 modification. The timecycle files and the enbseries.ini from iCEnhancer 3.0 for patch 1.0.7.0/EFLC are working completely different so I would need to start from the beginning and speculate how to get everything done to make it look exactly like my version for patch 1.0.4.0 patch. Also iCEnhancer 3.0 isn't perfect for the latest patches/EFLC because you have noisy and pixelated clouds at sunrise/sunset. Also shadow disappearing is possible sometimes. Performance is also more weak and it doesn't look as good as the 1.0.4.0 version. Just compare iCEnhancer 3.0 gameplay on patch 1.0.7.0/ELFC with the iCEnhancer 3.0 1.0.4.0 patch version on Youtube.

First you have to open the "icenhancer_config.txt" inside of your GTA IV main folder. After that change "#define MANUAL_DOF_FOCUS 0" and "#define DEPTHOFFIELD 0" both to 1 instead of 0 so "#define MANUAL_DOF_FOCUS 1 #define DEPTHOFFIELD 1". Ingame you have to hold 1 (not on numpad) and press page up/down to decrease/increase the DOF effect. If you use the simple native trainer I recommend to disable keys in options on page one. Otherwise you'll spawn a random attacking driver.

No problem. These are the only DOF options. I don't know how to edit DOF shaders inside ENB so I can't do anything. I'm also not interested in changing DOF stuff in iCE 3.0 because it's already perfect how it is in my opinion.

Make sure to wait a few seconds when you change time/weather. The adaptation and colors need a few seconds until they look like they should be. You can edit the light settings inside the [LIGHT2] section.

I not using a mod to change the time or weather. Is a save game at night time. I edited the values from all [LIGHT] sections but none of them increased the buildings lights.
The config that the user ''DKT70'' sent didn't fix the problem.

You are using other mods to improve the nightlights? on gtainside comments you said one year ago that you are using ''an unfinished mod from BisonSales which makes static lights at night more dynamic''. That's why my game don't look the same as yours?

My game don't have any other mods, is the version 1.0.4.0 and the settings are set on ultra.

Even with that problem, this is the best graphic mod for the game, so I'll keep using it.

Looks like your installation could be using the default timecycle. Did you put in xliveless? When xliveless isn't installed I think the game uses a default timecycle encoded into one of the exe's. Put the xliveless in, copy the mods timecycle to the pc/data folder and overwrite whatever one is there now.

I've reinstalled the 1.0.4.0 version of my mod on a fresh vanilla 1.0.4.0 copy and here's the result:

I'm not sure why your game looks so different compared to the original. Maybe your backup copy is broken or it's something with the shaders folder. Try to install the original 1.0.4.0 shaders from the optionals folder.

Didn't worked.

Upgraded to 1.0.7.0 and it works.

Q7HMdvA.jpg
For some unknown reason the 1.0.4.0 didn't worked as it should, at least for me. Day and night looks way better on 1.0.7.0 now.

Maybe you'd better leave a notice about it in case other person has the same problem.

You did something wrong or something's wrong with your original backup installation because it worked perfectly fine for me on a fresh 1.0.4.0 installation. Seems like you're the only person having this issue on patch 4 version. Otherwise you wouldn't be the only person who's noticing this. Sorry that it didn't worked for you and that I can't help you but at least you got the 1.0.7.0 version working.

4Xu4VBY.jpg

By looking at this screenshot again I noticed that it doesn't look like ENB at all. Maybe ENB was not loaded at all. Did you got the enbseries logo at game startup on 1.0.4.0?

Decided to do a quick daytime comparison of each version, right as you enter freemode. First image is 1.0.7.0 and the second 1.0.4.0.

hi.png?width=1128&height=635

hi_2.png?width=1128&height=635

Same deal again, first 1.0.7.0 and second 1.0.4.0.

h_i2.png?width=1128&height=635

hi.png?width=1128&height=635

I definitely prefer 1.0.4.0, especially the lighting, but they aren't all that different (at least during this time of day + weather). Thanks @DayL for making this very compatible with patch 1.0.7.0 as well, glad I can play some multiplayer with this mod.
