DayL
iCEnhancer 3.0 Natural by DayL Screenshots (1080p, 1440p and 4K) Download: GTAinside NexusMods Join my Discord community for free early access updates and more. Description: This mod aims to make GTA IV more natural, less dark and more vibrant. My inspiration was the never released iCEnhancer C by icelaglace. I spent about 300-400 hours to create and update this mod. This mod was developed for GTA IV patch 1.0.4.0 and later 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0/EFLC support were added. If you want the best visuals I strongly recommend to use patch 1.0.4.0 version. The 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0/EFLC version does not look same as good as the 1.0.4.0 version because of ENB limitation on newer patches. A lot of thanks to BisonSales, Orangebrains and icelaglace who helped me with some issues I had. Also thanks to icelaglace again for his original iCEnhancer 3.0 graphic mod. Without his mod this modified iCEnhancer 3.0 version wouldn't be possible obviously. Also big thanks to donnits who helped me to make iCEnhancer 3.0 Natural compatible with Patch 7&8 and EFLC. I'm not the creator/original author of the iCEnhancer series. This is just a custom preset for iCEnhancer 3.0 and not a new version of iCEnhancer. icelaglace is the original author of the iCEnhancer graphics mod series. About 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 and EFLC version: The 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0/EFLC version does not look same as good as the 1.0.4.0 version because of ENB limitation on newer patches. It is also not same as polished and beautiful like the 1.0.4.0 version but it works fine which was my only goal here so please don't complain when your game doesn't look same as good as on my shown screenshots. Foggy and lighting weathers are both very different in visuals compared to the 1.0.4.0 version but other weathers should look almost identical or at least identical enough for my taste. I still strongly recommend to use the 1.0.4.0 version if you want the best visuals. This mod was originally made for patch 4 and you will only have the best and full visual experience on this patch. Known issues with 1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 and EFLC: -Certain weather/time presets are looking different compared to the patch 1.0.4.0 (Patch 4) version. -Fog isn't same as impressive compared to the 1.0.4.0 version -Foggy and lighting weathers are both negatively different in visuals compared to the 1.0.4.0 (Patch 4) version of this mod. -For whatever reason Johnny Klebitz (Player character) in TLAD is really dark from 12am until 14am but only at cloudy weather -Sky noise texture artefacts are noticeable at certain weather/time presets Update changes: Spoiler (August 2019) 1.0: -First mod release (August 2019) 1.0.1: -Updated "Readme.txt" file -More recommended mods added -Disabled Rays by default if not using Project 2DFX -Added enbseries.ini with enabled Rays which is needed for Project 2DFX (September 2019) 1.0.5: -Improved sky colors for extra sunny and sunny weather -Improved Clouds for sunny and sunny windy weather -Added more distance fog for extra sunny, sunny and cloudy weather -Added more optionals (They are really worth to check out!) -Added ingame screenshots for all optinals -Added more recommended mods (September 2019) 1.1: -Completely new sunny windy weather for all daytimes (6am-7pm) -Improved 7pm sun and sky colors for extrasunny, sunny and sunny windy weathers -Improved 7-9am sky colors for extra sunny, sunny and sunny windy weathers -Improved 12am and 6pm sky colors for extra sunny and sunny weathers -Improved lighting strength and colors for extra sunny and sunny weathers for all daytimes (6am-7pm) -Slightly improved clouds for sunny weather -Added better burnt out vehicle texture for "HD Vehicle Textures" inside optionals folder (December 2019) 1.2: -Less saturated and more natural sky colors for sunny and extra sunny weather -Improved 7am, 9am, 6pm, 7pm top sky and azimuth colors for sunny, extra sunny and sunny windy weather -Fog added at 6am for sunny, extra sunny and sunny windy weather -Slightly fog added at 8pm, 9pm and all night times for sunny, extra sunny, sunny windy and cloudy weather -Foggy weather got reduced fog and more fog saturation for better athmosphere at midday -Tweaked fog settings for thunder weather -Slightly more distance fog added for sunny, extra sunny, sunny windy, and cloudy weather -Slightly reduced direct color lighting for 7pm and 7am sunny, extra sunny and sunny windy weather -Reduced far distance gamma for 7pm and 7am sunny, extra sunny and sunny windy weather -Reduced vehicle glass reflections for more naturalism -Slightly improved vehicle reflections for taxis and modern vehicles (December 2019) 1.2 (Hotfix): -Replaced "Doge" meme moon texture from Icelaglace with a better high resolution moon texture. I don't have any plans to do it for EFLC/1.0.7.0/1.0.8.0 because I would need to start all over again. I've edited the enbseries.ini, icenhancer_config.txt and the timecycle files from the default iCEnhancer 3.0 modification. The timecycle files and the enbseries.ini from iCEnhancer 3.0 for patch 1.0.7.0/EFLC are working completely different so I would need to start from the beginning and speculate how to get everything done to make it look exactly like my version for patch 1.0.4.0 patch. Also iCEnhancer 3.0 isn't perfect for the latest patches/EFLC because you have noisy and pixelated clouds at sunrise/sunset. Also shadow disappearing is possible sometimes. Performance is also more weak and it doesn't look as good as the 1.0.4.0 version. Just compare iCEnhancer 3.0 gameplay on patch 1.0.7.0/ELFC with the iCEnhancer 3.0 1.0.4.0 patch version on Youtube. After that change "#define MANUAL_DOF_FOCUS 0" and "#define DEPTHOFFIELD 0" both to 1 instead of 0 so "#define MANUAL_DOF_FOCUS 1 #define DEPTHOFFIELD 1". Ingame you have to hold 1 (not on numpad) and press page up/down to decrease/increase the DOF effect. If you use the simple native trainer I recommend to disable keys in options on page one. Otherwise you'll spawn a random attacking driver. Edited February 5, 2020 by DayL ZHC

I don't know how to edit DOF shaders inside ENB so I can't do anything. I'm also not interested in changing DOF stuff in iCE 3.0 because it's already perfect how it is in my opinion. Clara
continuing the discussion from the screenshots thread The screenshot from gtainside: But in my game is dark 1 hour ago, DayL said: Make sure to wait a few seconds when you change time/weather. The adaptation and colors need a few seconds until they look like they should be. You can edit the light settings inside the [LIGHT2] section. I not using a mod to change the time or weather. Is a save game at night time. I edited the values from all [LIGHT] sections but none of them increased the buildings lights. The config that the user ''DKT70'' sent didn't fix the problem. You are using other mods to improve the nightlights? on gtainside comments you said one year ago that you are using ''an unfinished mod from BisonSales which makes static lights at night more dynamic''. That's why my game don't look the same as yours? My game don't have any other mods, is the version 1.0.4.0 and the settings are set on ultra. Even with that problem, this is the best graphic mod for the game, so I'll keep using it. PacketOverload_x64bit
PacketOverload_x64bit
Looks like your installation could be using the default timecycle. Did you put in xliveless? When xliveless isn't installed I think the game uses a default timecycle encoded into one of the exe's. Put the xliveless in, copy the mods timecycle to the pc/data folder and overwrite whatever one is there now. DayL
I've reinstalled the 1.0.4.0 version of my mod on a fresh vanilla 1.0.4.0 copy and here's the result: 9pm (also used on the GTAinside screenshot): 10pm: 12pm: Your's again for comparison: I'm not sure why your game looks so different compared to the original. Maybe your backup copy is broken or it's something with the shaders folder. Try to install the original 1.0.4.0 shaders from the optionals folder. You did something wrong or something's wrong with your original backup installation because it worked perfectly fine for me on a fresh 1.0.4.0 installation. Seems like you're the only person having this issue on patch 4 version. Otherwise you wouldn't be the only person who's noticing this. Sorry that it didn't worked for you and that I can't help you but at least you got the 1.0.7.0 version working. By looking at this screenshot again I noticed that it doesn't look like ENB at all. Maybe ENB was not loaded at all. Did you got the enbseries logo at game startup on 1.0.4.0? Edited September 7, 2020 by DayL
Internet Rob
Decided to do a quick daytime comparison of each version, right as you enter freemode. First image is 1.0.7.0 and the second 1.0.4.0. Same deal again, first 1.0.7.0 and second 1.0.4.0. I definitely prefer 1.0.4.0, especially the lighting, but they aren't all that different (at least during this time of day + weather). Thanks @DayL for making this very compatible with patch 1.0.7.0 as well, glad I can play some multiplayer with this mod. It's a lot of work to tweak cutscenes because you have to tweak every interior's data lines with a lot of different values inside of some .dat files. Most ENB users don't care at all about cutscenes so gladly icelaglace (Creator of original iCEnhancer) made cutscenes decent enough. The cutscenes are definitely watchable without overbrightness, blur, no shadows or other very noticeable issues like that.

koboltzz
I really like your enbseries version. But I have a bug and I don't know why. I have no siren light on the police cars. When I press Shift+F12 (enb is off), the siren light is there again. Clean install 1.0.4.0 + only your enbseries. So must be because of this Edit: The solution is simple, DayL, you either forgot to add enbspritelight.png to your mod or change the following in the settings: [LIGHTSPRITE] UseExternalTexture=false Intensity=1.0 Without that change no siren lights, so you may consider to implement that fix in 1.8 Edited December 25, 2020 by koboltzz

I have to say that I don't have this issue and also the lightsprite texture is for a static corona (not covid lol) lens effect. It haves nothing to do with sirens but I'll still check your enbseries.ini changes to see if they do anything on my side.

Shift+F12, so enb off, light rotates visibly, turn your enb on again, then it is transparent, because your enb refers to an external texture which is not there. And that the LIGHTSPRITE intensity has to be set to 1.0 to have visible siren light, icelaglace already confirmed on facebook.
