Do Bounty missions recycle?

I’m venturing into the Bounty Hunter role now, but I have a few questions:

(1) How many bounties are there?

(2) Do the bounty missions recycle after a player has claimed them all?

(3) If they don’t recycle, what happens after they’ve all been captured?

Maybe bounty missions are completely randomised?

Like they all change their names, their descriptions and their pictures every time you play them.

Maybe. Hopefully someone who knows can weigh in here with some intel on the matter.

Just hit level 18 bounty hunter.

They're all completely randomised. But they all follow the same formula. You'll see the names of previous targets quite often.

You can have some that are are a simple intercept mission, sometimes you have to search for clues, sometimes you just have to attack a fortified position.

Bounties also come with different numbers of targets (1,2,4,6) with three tiers for how much you'll earn ($,$$,$$$)

Usually, the higher the reward, the more work you'll have to do. But sometimes that's not the case.

Hope this helps.

I’ve mostly gone after 1 target, because I’ve found with two it’s more likely they’ll escape. So have you solo’ed all your missions and CAN you even solo 6 bounties? How much of a difference does the bounty wagon make?

Not every target runs away in 6 bounties and the Bolas helps. Depending on the mission they might be all standing next to each other while they do barely any damage as you hogtie every single one up, or they’ll all be spread out in a camp and 2-3 will run away if you don’t have a posse

The bounty wagon makes a huge difference. I've been running 2 man posses, using it on missions with 4 or 6 targets and managing just fine. The reinforced lasso also makes it much easier to keep tabs on multiple targets.

Targets can't escape from the wagon either.

@TheBaronOfHell @Gleeman Vox Thanks, I’ll probably continue trying to do most jobs solo, but I should also say I haven’t even gotten the reinforced lasso yet so they quite often try and escape.

I’ll definitely get the reinforced lasso asap and then get the bolas and bounty wagon as soon as they unlock. Thanks for helping!

What is the rough payout for a wanted dead or alive npc bounty ? Ive done one and it only paid $8

I don't know the exact number for turning in a dead target, but it's considerably lower money and xp. The total payment is based on how much time you take while turning them in. Better to capture them and wait until the last 10 seconds to turn them in.
