Unable to get collectors bag for free even though I have collected all cards in GTA ONLINE

Finally got my bag for free on Xbox.  Never got an alert, just tried again when I logged in after work and it was free.  Was 15 gold last night.

I had Twitch Prime to get the GTA thing with the casino dlc. Cancelled the subscription right after. So I go to RDO yesterday and get 2 gold for being in a R* promotion, 179$ reimbursement for mane and tail for the horse, the trader and butcher table, the collector and satchel and the bounty hunter license all for free.

 

I don’t understand why, but colour me happy.

Anyone else having trouble submitting a ticket to Rockstar Support?  I keep getting an error for missing field checked, but I've filled everything I can to fill out.  Were they getting so many tickets that they just disabled it for a while?

Same here, Collector’s bag was free for me, despite the fact that I never did the cards in GTAO on the linked PS4 account (level 430 or something).

 

On the flipside though, the double action revolver that I correctly unlocked in GTAO never came through in RDR2, so I guess it’s a draw

lol, I was finally prepared to pay the Gold today and when I went to pay I got the Collector Bag for free even though I have not collected a single card in GTAO.

 

Might buy myself a new hat with the Gold I have saved.

You get the bag from Miss Nazar for free after meeting her for the first time. Otherwise, it costs 15 gold bars if you were too lazy to collect the cards in GTAO

That's the theory. In practice, at least four people in this thread (including me) got the Collector's Bag for free despite not having collected the GTAO cards. A glitch obviously, but a rare one that goes in our favour.

I paid mine when I was suppose to get it for free, I messaged Rockstar Support with a polite letter (that means no bitching and whining ) and they gave back my 15 gold

If I haven't collected all the cards in GTAO and i've talked to Madam Nazar already but did not get the bag the first time I talked to her, will I still be able to go get all the cards now and get the bag for free?  (September 21, 2019)    Or was this a past offer that is now expired?

Yes you can.

You can talk to her again and buy the the Collector's Bag for free if you have collected all the cards.

You may have to wait 24 real hours before your account recognizes that you can actually redeem it for free, as Rockstar stated*, due to a bug (?). I don't know if now they patched it, but, i'll tell you anyway.

In any case, check it when you want. if you see you have to pay, then, wait..

I had the same issue, so I contacted Rockstar and they credited me the Gold I spent for the collectors bag

yeah the event ended on October 14th. I would just keep sending support tickets until they credit you 15 gold.

I did all 54 cards, and made sure by going back to check twice. The past 2 days i have been going to madame nazar and it still wants to make me pay, even though when i get into a game, it says “you have recieved a free collectors bag, and special poncho in your wardrobe”. I have the poncho, but it doesnt want to give me the role. f*ck

As said in the post above yours, the promotion ended and it is no longer possible to get the role for free via collecting all 64 cards.

 

I believe the role is currently free if you are subscribed to Amazon/Twitch Prime, which should have a free trial available if you've never used the service before.
