Do i have to keep the samples in order to sell the complete guide or can I just sell them to Harriett while I complete the other stuff about the animals?

 I'm testing that now. 
The guides show they are "stamped", but when I get a new sample, it doesn't count the old ones in the pop up.

I've already solved that doubt yesterday lol, you can just sell them as you go. You need the stamp them anyway to trade the full set. In a while I'll see if you have to max out every animal or just stamping them is enough in order to be able to trade in the full compendium.

That will be good to know.

So you need at least two of every animal right?

You can do everything except skin, if you sedated an animal.

Situation Update: Only thing you need to take is the blood sample, you don't have to do anything else. So this role is much less tedious than it initially appears to be.

I think you only gain role xp for sampling, reviving, stamping and selling the complete compendium (except the missions ofc). I didn't spot any role xp for maxing out any animal but that could just be me.

Ok. I don’t think I’ve seen stamping before. How do I do that? Is it just when I tick a box in the compendium?

Sell her a sample, that gives you a stamp.

I'm going to check again, but I seem to get RXP for studying as well.

Seems to be 1,000 XP for Trading an entire category. But that was just the Farmland Habitats. I'll be logging the rest to see if it holds up.

It appears to be 1,000 XP for each "Habitats" category. I don't know if Legendary Animals gives more than 1,000 XP.

So in the Mountain and Grasslands Habitat the slot after the Bighorn Ram is the Bighorn Sheep. I finished that one so I am 100% on that , The one after the Grey wolf is The Timber Wolf I believe. i have not found one yet to verify, but will post again when I do.

 

In the common habitats, they are black and brown rat.

I've been working on it, but I have to hunt each one individual to get the prices and most of the time they don't spawn for me.

In order to turn in a set you need one of every animal. Once they are all stamped in a certain category, you turn in the category. You just need the animal sample to get it stamped. After you turn in a set, you will need to stamp the animals again with another sample.

 

You will need a second animal to kill and skin if you're goal is to 100% an animal in the compendium.

And i stop and going to delete that guide i did as i never know there was already 1 by someone but i made it for some people who never know there was 1 like me but now i know that @2SmokinBarrels did 1 and @CaliMeatWagon its a bit silly of me not looking for a that gudie as i always go to CaliMeatWagon for my gudies anyway but love to 2smokin as that guide is lit

Yeah, I appreciate dude doing the that breakdown. 
Lucky for him he can access the games files and find those. 
I have no idea, I have to manually figure everything out in the game.

Has anybody else come across a Free Mode bounty? 
I found one south of Plainview, was all by themselves. Turned them in alive easy enough, with plenty of time to spare, but only got paid $1...

Same, I only got 100 Role XP and $1, not sure if I even got gold for it.
