Could people post how much your Mash costs, what strength, and how many times you have purchased?
The first time I purchased it was $30, now it's $40.

Bought the first one for $30, the second one costed me $60. Let's see how much I gain this time.

First sell was a mess, I broke a bottle and got $28, such a pain in the ass these kind of deliveries, hope it gets better the further it gets.

New things I noticed:

- You can now spawn in your camp when you start the game

- Madam Nazar location is now on the map (at least I got it today and don't know how, maybe is just random)

- BANDOLIERS AVAILABLE, FINALLY (expensive as f**k, obviously)

- New outfit slots, as soon as I unlocked the first one of the OP2 it was automatically stored on my horse

- You can choose a weapon as "quick choice", maybe when you press L1/LB when you're disarmed

Bought the mash for 60$, sold the product for 62,50. WTF?

To bring down the cost you can do Bootlegger missions. Not sure if the there are other ways.

Thanks for the info calimeatwagon!

Appriciate it.

So it’s only 3 story missions?

5 story missions and 7 bootlegger missions. I just haven't done them yet. Apperantly one of them seems to reduce the cost of mash, which is messing with my number tracking.

---------------

So I think I broke the game...
Running Bootlegging Missions are supposed to reduce the cost of Mash. But I wanted to see how low I could get it. The price has been increasing the last couple of missions. I think it started counting backwards...

So I found out in the role menu I could unlock Moonshiner for 5 gold. Still probably require 25 gold for the shack but it’s still way cheaper than requiring to unlock trader first.

When you relocate your shack for 250,00 do you loose your upgrades etc as well?

That is a good question, I'll have to check. If I had to guess thought, I would say no, you don't lose them. I'll test and get back to you though.

How many missions did you do before it started to increase the price?

I had it at zero, but I think that was because of the voucher. It hasn't done it since.

  • Revenue Men Checkpoint happen during Moonshine Sales. There are 4 scenarios that can happen
    • You can run right through and they start shooting immediately
    • They can wave you through the checkpoint
    • You stop, they search, find shine, and immediately start shooting
    • You stop, they search, not care about what you got, and wave you through.

Nope, everything stays the same. I think Production pauses for a moment, while it's moving, but that's it. Oh, and you can't fast travel with it if you are inside while you move it.

I had another scenario, maybe a glitch. They stopped me and the crawl said for me to wait for them to inspect my wagon but never changed, I was never waved thru. The timer ran down so I had to run. Took a few shots but they didn't chase me.

Probably a glitch, there are plenty of them right now.

Thank you.

Did you notice any unlocks with any of the missions?

For "Where There's Smoke There's Firewater" I think I got $10 off the price of Mash permanently.
For "Come Hell, Come High Water" I think I got the Apple Berry Crumb recipe.

The last one was Agarita Sunrise Moonshine, I don't remember for the 4th mission.

When I started the first Moonshiner story mission something popped up on the top left saying I was playing the mission on Standard Difficulty. Does anyone know if it makes a difference what difficulty you play them on as far as any benefits playing on hard, and how to change the difficulty if it’s even possible?

So the money to be made with moonshine isn’t really worth it at all is it?

It is actually pretty good.

1 hour (less with one of the rank bonuses, I think) to make approximately $225 or so with only a short set up mission is pretty decent coin.

You run it alongside your trader business of course.  The set up missions and the deliveries are all very short, so it is easy to fit them in around hunting and resupplying Cripps.

Not sure where you got that impression. This is one of the more profitable activities in the game. Especially once you get it up and running.

There are the exact numbers.

I thought I saw an unlockable perk for the Moonshiner role that increases the speed of Moonshine production. What does that do to the 30/45/60 times for weak/average/strong production?

What perk?  I'll have to check, but all I've seen is two pieces of equipment to unlock Average and Strong 'shine, a perk to add an additional seller, and one for protection.

Master Distiller

Reduce the time taken to create a batch of moonshine.

Unlocks when you reach Moonshiner Rank 15.

Well okay then, looks like I missed something.
Looks like the 'Shine Shack is potentially even more profitable.

Looks like the chart is going to get more complicated...

Someone said they thought it was a 20% reduction in production time (so strong from 60 —> 48), but I’m only level 6 so can’t test it for a while yet.

So maybe 30/45/60 —> 24/36/48
