Just opened the bird egg map in Valentine, gonna spend more money FT'ing to get the fkn things than they're worth. Starting to lose the excitement already, At least it's better than Cripp's bunker sales.

i agree its not fun having to go all the way back to nazar for another map

From what I've gathered the maps are optional, you can find this stuff without them.

 

Once people start mapping the locations for stuff it'll be easier I'm guessing. Right now it's all maps tho otherwise it'll take forever to rank up.

Just go to areas on the map like cabins, graveyards and where thr dino bones are in story mode and youll gurantee to find yourself stuff. Also use eagle eye often, I found a tarot card on the windmill at flatneck station thanks to it

So, Collector stuff is mappable.

 

Once that happens Collector could be some pretty damn good money.

Found a random tarot card at the abandoned mine camp near twin stacks. Was looking for Bison and thought I'd seen if there was anything good there while passing.

Braithewaite Manor is a gold mine. Go through the main door, bottle in the right room on the table then a card in the left room on the piano. Then there's a card underneath the big barn and stuff on the west coast, should be a card in the gazebo thing and a buried arrow head next to the tree next to the gazebo.

Just to clarify, the collector satchel unlock isn't an actual wearable item (with the cosmetic satchels simply being decorative parts of some of the new outfits), and is basically just a permit to do collector work, right?

 

If so, awesome - so far I've sworn off trader because of what it does to your camp, but bounty hunting and collecting are still seemingly okay, since all you have to do is pay (or get the 54 cards in GTAO) to unlock that activity path.

 

I.e., it's (apparently - assuming I'm not wrong!) like the difference between the $500 for basic membership of the casino in GTAO to play the games (bounty hunter permit/collector satchel), and buying a penthouse to part-own the casino and do the missions (trader camp upgrade). Am I getting this right, or is there some catch I've not spotted?

You get one use out of them basically, they're honestly trash and not worth the money. Just go exploring and you'll find stuff, or follow what people here are saying.

I need help, I collected the 54 playing cards in GTAO and I went to get my Collectors bag and I have to pay the 15 gold bars to obtain it
