That's because the Legendary Bounty sits in the exact same space on the bounty board. You have to do the LB, then you have about an hour to grab the "$$$" bounties from any boards you come across. I put one bounty on my horse and drug the other behind me. When I got to the sheriff's office I left one on my horse and went to carry the other inside. When I got inside the mission ended and said I brought one in alive but the other was lost....will this happen every time I try to bring 2 in or was it a bug? It's possible the one on your horse got themselves untied and ran off while you were dealing with the other. Also quite possible it was just a bug, unfortunately. Nope, as soon as I walked in the cut scene started and after I was kicked out of the office and then it said that the bounty was over. From that moment you have 20 minutes to collect the bounty before they escape. Once you get in range of the bounty, THEN a visible timer starts which is SEPARATE from the initial "travel" timer. Further more, the secondary "capture" timer is not a set time and seems to change based on a multitude of things. It is also worth noting that if another player passes by your activity then the "travel" timer is ended and the "capture" timer immediate starts. IamCourtney Posted December 23, 2019 Share Posted December 23, 2019 (edited) All I can tell you is that on PS4 you use the same buttons you would for combat diving on foot, ie. the direction you want to duck + whichever key you have dive/jump/climb bound to. I tended to just grind out the low level bounties, or level 2 ones whatever. Then, when I had enough/was high enough level in it, bought the bounty wagon. It gets WAY faster then. There are some real good ones, like 4 people. Sometimes the four people are coming to a camp, then I pretty much kill them all (or sometimes some will escape.) Or maybe I only have to kill 2, or 3. Sometimes you get lucky, and it is the four ladies/guys who are at some 'lil shack and you can just run into them with the lasso and hogtie them one after the other, dismiss your horse and summon the bounty wagon. THOSE really up the XP. The only horrible thing is if you get a "rockstar game server error", when one is going really well and everyone is in the bounty wagon (horribly demoralizing ) Really it is just trying to have fun with it, getting into it. I HATE the "bounty is on a train" ones, but even those can be kind of fun/hectic. I always go for the driver, stop the train, kill people or if lucky the person tries to run making it easier (just go for them then.) I FINALLY managed to succeed on the "Four guys, way off in the winter area up north." Boy, that one is a bear. You can't really ride the bounty wagon up there, since the terrain is horrible. If you try to hogtie them, it takes too long. What I finally did was just shoot everyone ASAP, dump each corpse one by one where I knew the Bounty wagon could go, then dismiss horse and call bounty wagon. THEN I rode the bounty wagon over the to the prison wagon.
