syoer 2
The problem GTA uses too much ram because (probably) it thinks your computer really has 4gb+ of vram (it used to show around 4gb of "video memory" in my case). The fix (credits to JLa1 from Intel forums. I reduced 12GB+ total ram usage to just 6.XGB): 1) Use an old graphics driver, like "15.60.1.1.4901" from 2017 https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/download-intel-hd-graphics-driver-version-15-60-1-1-4901.html 2) Open regedit.exe and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Intel\GMM and create a DWORD key (32 or 64, it doesn't matter) called "DedicatedSegmentSize" with a decimal value of your choice (I use 1024); that value will show up as video memory in your game settings. Reboot your computer. If the fix is working, you should see a change in the "dedicated video memory" line of your display adapter settings (with the latest Intel driver on Win10 it always says 128mb, that's why an older driver version is needed). https://imgur.com/a/zmItxFS 3) Fire up GTA V and have some fun. https://imgur.com/a/OYLbGhP Additional info: https://forums.intel.com/s/question/0D50P0000490K76SAE/gta-v-memory-leak-in-1560-4901-driver?language=en_US Dedicated Memory Reporting (but remember, the fake memory can go above 512MB) The graphics driver now reports some amount of fictitious “dedicated” graphics memory to the operating system (128MB by default) to work around applications issues in a number of games. These games incorrectly look for some amount of “dedicated” graphics memory because they weren’t coded with the unified memory architecture for processor graphics. The amount reported can be modified or disabled if desired by changing the following registry value: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Intel\GMM, create a REG_DWORD value named “DedicatedSegmentSize”. The value is interpreted as number of MB to report (0-512MB). A value of 0 disables reporting the dummy memory segment. If the registry key/value is not found, the driver will report the default 128MB. Edited September 9, 2019 by syoer Abualbyert

I'm using Windows 10 update version 2004 (Latest). After the Summer dlc update this game has a huge memory leak issue ! Please help, your solution not working !
