Patrick Wells
I'm spending more time trying to get this stupid game to run than I will have to actually play it. It keeps crashing on startup on Windows 10. I deleted everything from the Steam GTA V folder except for the ..rpf files and then had Steam verify the files and reaquire the ones I deleted. That made it even worse. I've updated all drivers. Why is this game so difficult to get running?
Patrick Wells
I’m answering my own issue in case it helps others. Turns out all I had to do was delete the Social Club folders in C:/Program Files and C:/Program Files (x86) and then download and install the latest Social Club installer.
