Holy crap where has this been? despite most of the stuff looking like it’s been yanked out of San Andreas, it still looks excellent. Can’t wait to install this and give it a go!

I also like how detailed and “lived in” the shoreside vale apartment looks. I can’t wait to explore it further, as well as see how nice the Staunton island safehouse is!

Oh, lovely stuff you have there HackMan. good job! :D

Wow those interiors are beautiful, I love your use of light and the way you've "3D-ified" some of the III textures. Gonna try this in a bit, that elevator looks fun. 😃

This made my day. Glad to see people still coming up with mods for LC. Keep up the good work Hackman. Interesting choice of interiors especially the lighthouse. I have a similar project for III to add extra savepoints without interiors. Pickup save time though. I used the gta3 vehicle pickup icon from I/E instead.

This looks great! Hopefully in future volumes you can make some interiors from some of the story buildings (such as Luigi's club and Kenji's Casino)

The Misty's apartment, according to https://www.grandtheftwiki.com/Hepburn_Heights is in Hepburn Heights.

UT, as always nice irony. I would be ashamed to take most of R* stuff and call it mine.

Since you've restored the save icon because safe houses have interiors, perhaps you could make something a little more era appropriate for GTA3?

Would follow the trend of the rest of the 3D era GTA's which use re-writable media as the icons instead of using a recoloured VC one.

For those, who have problems with Install.bat on Windows 10 (even after running it as admin), because apparently fastman92ImgConsole32 can't recognise some commands from the install.txt file in the "models" folder, here's my solution:

1.) Download IMG FACTORY 1.2

2.) Open gta3.img through it

3.) Import the contents of the COL, DFF, TXD folders (do not import the folders themself, but the contents inside of them)

4.) When the tool asks, click on the REPLACE button
5.) Once you added everything, click on Rebuild
6.) Once the process is done, there will be a log about one file, which origin is unclear for the tool. Just click on close and ignore it.
7.) Quit the tool and launch the game

8.) Profit... I think

And thanks the mod OP ^^

Just wondering, will doing this fix an issue I have with this mod?

All the interior locations for me included in this mod have all the collision but no models or textures.

Excellent work! Makes the game a bit more alive, in my opinion.
Though here's an issue, the game soft-locks in the mission Cipriani's Chauffeur when Toni approaches the door of the laundry shop.
What happens? The doors won't open, thus Toni cannot enter in any way.

dont worry, I will fix the script.

The fix is available to use. First post has been updated.

Who plays GTA III still? Its engine is unstable. I like the game but provides too little options to mod it. Besides, there is already a similar modification for GTA III.

Train shakes building because it is near.

It's nice little touches like that which makes mods like this feel closer to a professional level, and also accurate since GTA3 had the most environment like touches on the map.

Oooh is that BINK player method or the texture flicker method?

Can you add interiors from LCS like Toni's Staunton and Shoreside safehouse, LC Sawmill interior(where Giovini was killed), Vincenzo's warehouse, Maria's safehouse, Salvatore's office in his mansion, Love media's office (where Donald gave missions in LCS).

Also can you add Forreli's meeting place from the intro of VC in the Saint's Marco Bistro?

None of them.

I'm using a method of displaying a texture (tga) as a whole frame, so it is basically txd with every frame as texture. I need that because it gives me more possibilities with texture scrolling and animations.

Time to improve stuff. I added also more sounds on the map. I'm not sure about the music choice, but most likely it will be changed to something different.

I was thinking the cave system of lighthouse could be a bit more extended, so I came to the conclusion I would make the lighthouse tower enterable also from the outsite by these ground doors.
