Collision problem

So my friend made a house in SketchUp for my mod, and after putting it in Autodesk 3ds 2018, and converting to MEd, the house for some reason is vertically oriented but the collision is in the right way.

What did I do wrong? (I use Kam's Scripts for making the .dff and .col, and I used Magic.txd for the .txd).

Probably wrong pivot in the house model. Make sure its rotation is 0

Pivot is basically centre of your mesh. Translation and rotation all depend on your pivot. So if your model is placed at 0,0,0 with 0,0,0 rotation, your pivot must also have no translation and no rotation, or unexpected things might happen, like in your case. To make sure it's reset, go to the hierarchy tab, click "Affect pivot only".

Some big arrows will appear. Rotate the model so that it's rotation is 0,0,0. The model itself won't change, because you only edit the pivot. After that click "Affect pivot only" again to "unblue" it and export.

Dude, for some reason, when using a .FBX file, this bug happens, but using a .3ds file, this bug doesn't occur.

So, i'm gonna talk to my friend to make houses and export them to .3ds.

Ugh, bow the houses are massive and even if i scale them down, in MEd they are still giant.

And a error appeared to me exporting a house, it said " Error: write geometry ".

Collisions are duplicated or triplicated for some reason

 

Do you know any possible fix?

You don’t select the arrows, you just write coordinates on the bottom right. Or you send the dff over.

you may have to use Reset xForm prior to exporting the model if your scale values aren't 100, 100, 100. if they're e.g 33,0, 33,0, 33,0 the model will be enlarged x3,33 on export.

Now the .txd files don't any textures and are plain white.

I'll test that later
