Losing almost all profits on all businesses

So basically, every time I buy supplies for my businesses (counterfeit cash mainly), it uses up all of my stock and doesn't make anything. Maybe like 20k worth of stuff. I just walked into my bunker and the stock was at $510k, research was empty, and I had a small amount of supplies left so I was happy with that, but then I walked out and walked back in (within literally only 20 seconds) and my stock went down to $130k, research bar half full and no more supplies left. I have wasted so much money on buying supplies that just seemingly bug out and don't do anything. Any help please?
