Doubt it, the Online and Single Player systems seem to be their own independent thing. Like horse personalities in Online are all the same, where in Single Player Arabians are scared of sheep, and in Online, they are just as brave as warhorses.

I guess the different systems were done to avoid Online affecting Story Mode in case of nerfs and buffs to different abilities, weapons etc.

I just found all 54 playing cards a week ago.  Guess I'll cash that in.  Newswire said additional Stable slots, but can we even sell our horses yet?  I haven't been on for almost a month now.

Wow, GTA Online has helped to accept the whole microtransaction system I see... But I'm not surprised, now the multiplayer is "the thing" and SP content is most of the times forgotten. Probably we arrived at the point where it's better to throw hundreds of hours grinding to buy the Arabic horse rather than playing another good singleplayer game.

I'm quite sure this post will receive a bit of hate, but I actually don't care. Oh, BTW, I have 60 gold bars, so I don't have to grind for the DLC in case you're wondering.

You, by being a regular player, you're happy with this situation and you have no reasons to complain, but for keeping a multiplayer mode alive you also need to have casuals. And, as a casual, how am I incentivized to play RDO?

Damn, I just spend half of playtime sitting on a black loading screen waiting for the same "connection issue 0x20010006" message to pop up. Sorry if I prefer to waste my time in another way... And sorry if I'd like to play sometimes RDO for achieving the rank 50 trophy.

It's not "nothing in exchange", you have 2 options:

1. Spend a lot of time just focusing on 1/2 games only

It's up to you what you want to spend. This mechanic, some years ago, was just used by mobile games and free-to-play, now it seems to be, sadly, accepted even with AAA games that cost 70$. I repeat, 70$!

It's not aimed towards rich people, the aim is to attract the "weak" players who think the best thing they can do is spending money on microtransactions for playing "normally" the game. You don't have to be rich for a 20$ Shark Card.

Rockstar is not a charity for sure, but let's not forget what they did in the past and what they're doing now. A multi-billion company can live without this shady system, 10 years ago the only DLCs that Rockstar was making were TLaD and TBoGT: quality content!

Apparently now people enjoy more quantity over quality...

When the Casino update dropped, files were found that showed that there is an Impotent Rage collectible event, as well as a peyote collectable. 

 

However, there isn't a date for when the second event is happening.

Because the update is free to download. Either play the game on the regular and earn the ability, or pay for it through a purchase.

All I can say is that I'm really glad that I listened to the little voice in my head when I started playing.

 

It said "DO NOT SPEND YOU GOLD BARS! YOU DON"T NEED STUPID COSMETICS! YOU DO NOT NEED THAT HAT RIGHT NOW!"

 

Excited for the Bounty Hunter and Collector roles, but the Trader reminds me too much of business in GTA. Wagons will be exploding left and right and many sales will be lost. I'll probably just avoid that all together and focus on the other two roles.

I can see that the old bonuses are still active.  I made 150 gold these pasg 2 weeks. 

 

The ability to carry more stuff is a welcome change.  However, if I cant spawn in with my camp either at the area of its last location or simply a random spawn point selected by the game, I will consider this update a clossal fail even if most of the stuff available is cool.  The ability to spawn in to a safe point and assess everything is needed.  I also dont want to ride 2 minutes to check the mail everytime I spawn in a new game.

That stuff will probably be added in yes but it's unlikely we'll see it on Tuesday. Rockstar love their drip feed sh*t...

Disagree. I had my controls set up in a specific way in singleplayer before Online dropped, they carry over. Regardless of if you tweak it in one area, it carries over.

It's actually quite easy to do--been there, done that.

For everyone crying about gold costs for the roles, if you could dry your eyes for a min and answer this it'd be great....

Would you rather pay $250 Start Up costs or 15 Gold per Role? There has to be a start up cost, I thought it'd be even worse than this judging how they've been throwing gold at us since the 1 Bar per Rank Up weeks.
