Probably won’t get another white guy this time because of RDR2 and R* likes to mix it up. Thoughts?

Pedro Pascal

He looks good. I would enjoy playing as him in Vice City

If the simulator should be... the character of one’s choosing can trek around the Creator’s omnipotent new portal as any creed. At face value, limitation is the the most ostentatious foe to ambition. Ambition will steal the throne, whilst limitation’s last breath chokes on the Armageddon.

Be all that you will, and love all that you will be. The story is your’s to weave. 🙂

Here's are some ideas:

One character is Asian Indian and starts as a cab driver. During one of his rides, he meets another Character (PC or NPC) which then sets him out on the "main storyline" missions.

Or it could be Hispanic or even South European (Spanish, Italian) - starts perhaps as a delivery service or the like. Same course as Option 1.

East Asian: Starting with a laundry service (GTA III reference) or food delivery

English (UK): Starts as a Tour guide

German: Works at a bakery (delivery)

Sure, there might be a bit of stereotyping in here, but getting to play one of these characters also sets you into their lives and "real-life struggles" (if implemented well in the game) and perhaps gets players to appreciate the diversity of these cultures. Of course, too much stereotyping isn't the idea here... even though CJ as well as Franklin were pretty stereotype Afro-American, as Niko Bellic was "Eastern European"

Half the fan base would lose they're minds if R* decides to do a Female protagonist or even another Black one.

I prefer white characters because they are easier to identity with for me. I didn't mind Franklin, because GTA V had multiple protagonists. CJ was fine because the setting of San Andreas could only be done with black protagonist.

Anyway, I kind of want next game to have two protags just for this reason, so if the game has a protagonist some people don't like they won't be stuck with them for the entire game. In GTA V I didn't like Franklin and Trevor that much and I mostly played focused on Michael. For next game I'd like to see GTA VI have an Italian and maybe a Spanish dude if there are two protagonists. Female protagonist could only be done if she was a corrupt cop character. Would be interesting to see how Rockstar would handle female protagonist. If they are not doing a corrupt cop storyline, then I hope they stick to male macho characters.

Grotti Vigilante

I don't care about the race or ethnicity as long it fits the setting. If I had to chose, give me an Italian-American with a slim athletic figure, a visible jawline, a forehead without a cowlick, and a nice high fade haircut or quiff that parts to the left or the right. I know it sounds a bit like Tommy Vercetti, but he's pretty much the best looking protagonist of the lot in my opinion. Not graphics wise, but if I had to look like any in real life it'd be him. Regardless, ld work with some sort of alliance between the Colombian Cartel and the Cosa Nostra.

My theory is that GTA 6 will star a cuddly wuddly cartoon rabbit in an attempt to make the franchise more appealing to younger audiences to sell more Shark cards. In a massive plot twist near the end of the game it’s revealed that the protagonist, Cuddles the Rabbit, was actually Trevor. In a shocking revelation it’s revealed that Ending C of GTA 5 is canon but Trevor gets kidnapped by a mad scientist who turns him into a cuddly cartoon rabbit.

(Mods, if this is considered spam then feel free to remove it. Seeing how some of the images on this post clearly aren’t serious I thought it’d be funny to make my own twist. But if it poisons the discussion then feel free to remove it.)

Considering Vice City as the most possible setting of GTA Next and reusing the concept of 3 protagonists from GTA V:

- a Latino/Latina immigrant (probably Cuban or Puerto Rican)

- your typical Florida Man you hear about from various news websites and stuff

- a guy living in a poorer part of a smaller town

if and/or male:

I'd say someone who has a thing, or interest in cars.., but never really goes under the hood(but may know the lingo, and make their own if that is possible, or run a business involving creation, or etc of vehicles at the end.., possible, not forced..,)

about as can, or will reach impressive levels of combat.., but w ont be so at the start..,(like JW.., but doesn't stick to, or follow the same style..,)

d oesnt start in crime.., but gets pulled in..,

has a nice black muscle car at start.., a mix or reminiscent of stylo, or existing GTA equivalent(but keeping it bare bones in the sense that it's meaning or intimidation factor only increases as the character goes up..,) whether or not the car is lost and recovered during the story idk.., but can seem like a weak plot point..,(so id rather not..,)

(IF up to me.., very principled.., and is quicker to jump to action.., and once in the thick of things-further along in crime- is one of the ones to know when things are off, when things need to end.., -becomes one to out smart most- but not all things go to plan or well.., and so is very irritable..,(so once further along.., that only adds to the honed and piercing way to go about dealing with a problem or enemy)

(IF the brutal gets tough, then things escalate.., but if there is a way to bring problems, or goals to a quick, neck breaking success.., then no quick person to press the button.., even if your expected to take your time and think about it..,

if and/or female:

all in all.., she is in the very uncommon situation of due to circumstances in their field of work, she was given leave and gone into "retirement"..,

[fill in the blanks of either govt work.., or mil work.., which requires her to stay seated in certain specified locations until further notice.., but it seems to be along the lines that it wont really change.., and instead of going up in their chosen career, they'll just end up coasting life with nothing going on.., or work that fulfills them..,]

summarized long, long story short..,

she ends up going about the city with way too much time, and skill at hand..,

and ends up making a few acquaintances, most harmless..,

but with a serious dislike of ____' s that generally give people like them a bad name.., (say.., hates people of her kind, work, etc that are complete trash in the sense of being like rats, or the trash gang mobs in ls that are always around in dozens) but doesn't do anything when in a situation in which it's best to keep cool.., (no issues if interests, or friends and acquaintances are not crossed)

(IF condensed to simpler terms, they are straightforward,  frontline, can handle quite abit of pressure..,)

generally I wouldn't know what kind of personal vehicle she would have.., all I can say though.., no matter the outfit.., or gear.., she looks the part.., and while not the strongest, or intended strength.., they would be easier to blend in.., unless the obvious requirements are not met..,(like say if merryweather troops, or etc.., are only male.., then her voice.., may be a give away..,)

and generally they don't care much about things, or hiding from things most tend to obscure.., but it sure a int there focus and interest intentionally at times..,

(c ant really type more on phone rn.., but most of this came with an idea towards a north-midwestern scene.., with some plains trails to blaze..,

If the story is set in Vice City and the surrounding area:

-American white guy, early 30s,outlaw biker, lives in one of the nearby towns outside the city usually operates in the countryside

-Cuban guy, early to mid 20s,member of a Cuban street gang, lives in a predominantly Latino part of the city and usually operates in the city

If the story is set in San Fierro, Las Venturas and the countryside between them:

-Asian guy,late 20s or early 30s,involved in the triads-yakuza rivalry, lives in a predominantly Asian part of the city and usually operates in San Fierro

-Italian-American (white) guy, late 30s or early 40s,mafia made man that runs a casino in Las Venturas, mostly operates in Las Venturas

-American white guy, early 30s,outlaw biker, lives in one of the towns between the cities and usually operates in the countryside (though there should be at least 100 story missions to have a third protagonist, otherwise it's better to just have two and develop them properly)

That don’t mean anything. People whine and complain about CJ and the gang banging element of San Andreas on here all the time. Most folks can’t handle a non white male protagonist and that’s a fact.

But what's wrong about disliking the gangbanging element though?

maybe dont magnify and pay attention the very silent minority online? Because the common consensus from all gamers is that GTASA is one of the greatest games of all time with some of the most memorable characters and quotes. You're creating your own problems where they dont exist. If anyone complains, its a select few and its your fault for even wasting time and energy on them.  And no it isnt a fact no matter how much times you say it is. It isnt the 50s and the KKK doesnt run the universe.

A year or so ago I kept having images of a short Mexican male with green army fatigue and a black leather jacket, weird.

Anyways, The next proganist should come from NY to Cali and visit the bay area and then die in Las Vegas.
Image result for short Mexican male with green army fatigue and a black leather jacket,"

jk.

just a CJ reference.

I would like a female lead and not due to bs pc opinion. I just think it would be a fresh new take as it's has always been male dominated would be good to see something different. If project America's is right a badass Hispanic woman who takes no sh*t would be awesome, think caterlina but less annoying.

https://images.app.goo.gl/UbXCQz5nPvT4cQyK7

I also like the thought if they are doing several protagonists again one being a police officer/ detective who could be a good or bad cop depending on your choices

And game play should react to this occupation

Think true crime l.a, I loved the ability to plant drugs, and police request cars of npcs I think this would be a great edition into gta.

I don't want another gangbanger sick of this bs blood, crips theme.

But doesn't mean I wouldn't mind a black character but he doesn't always have to be ghetto.

Gangbanging wasn't even the main theme of SA. Like 1/3 of the game was about gangbanging. Then CJ goes on an Odyssey around the state.

Duhillestpunk

I’d like to see Jack Huston be the voice and face for our protagonist. He’s good looking. He’s got the charm. And most of all the build and height.

If anyone has seen Boardwalk Empire or American Hustle, you’ll know who I’m talking about. He was great as Richard Harrow in BE. He’s like an underrated actor and I could see him fitting into GTA 6 definitely.
