Cerium
I recently noticed something that made me giggle a little. During the Blow Job! mission, you're ordered to blow up a trailer. Just about a second after the explosion, I saw explosion marks coming up that I hadn't noticed before. I re-did the mission to see where those exploding scores came from and it turns out that almost every round, I've seen one or two rednecks killed beside the trailer, meaning that they're inside the trailer when it blows up. I've never seen this before and it's a bit funny if you think about it. Has anyone seen it? DimitriFaustin and sabitsuki

In fact, I one time checked out the mission dialogues for GTA 2 on the StrategyWiki and saw this particular line: Billy Bob Bean: Well looky here, Rooster. Fat Boy Jim was home all along! Source: https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_2/Redneck_jobs This might be on the Dreamcast version (or some regional releases), but I haven't seen this on the PC version nor the PS1 version. I think it's kind of fitting considering the Rednecks are portrayed to be people who like maiming just fer the heck of it. Edited August 28, 2019 by DimitriFaustin Forgot source. They probably forgot to include that particular line in the PC version. I gotta say, the developers have some good sense of humor. Another thing I've noticed is that the "default" head shows up randomly during Distraction Action!, telling the player to destroy the generator. There is no one there to actually say this thing. It has to be some kind of mistake. https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_2/Zaibatsu_jobs_(Area_2) Edited August 29, 2019 by Cerium DimitriFaustin

I couldn't quite put my finger on it when I first played that mission.
Jeansowaty
The last line in the first Zaibatsu mission also goes unused with no word being said after the Job Complete! DimitriFaustin

According to the GTA 2 Residential District missions page for the Zaibatsu on StrategyWiki, it says this: Red Valdez: Scorcher, Gecko! The Rednecks are roasting and the SRS are taking the blame! We have many jobs for the resourceful. In the meantime, please accept $30,000. https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Grand_Theft_Auto_2/Zaibatsu_jobs_(Area_2) Ivan1997GTA and Jeansowaty

Things like these argue for GTA 2 being a rush job. Jeansowaty, DimitriFaustin and Ivan1997GTA

Besides, it's typical of any GTA game where you kill any more than one person, bam - you're wanted.
