computertech82
I've been running into issues that conflict with several youtubers (or whatever), like the Nero custom is SUPPOSE to be faster than the tezeract. But that seems to be untrue in real races. Several times on one of the races using the highway far left on the map to the airport, A Tezeract stomped the crap out of Nero custom in the straightaway. (fully upgraded). The Tezeract simply and slowly pulls away, the Nero just can't catch up. And no, no curb 'boosting'. I've played that race well over 5 times, always the same result. Anyone else seeing things like this?
SummerFreeze
Theoretically the Tezeract has one of highest top speeds in the game, it just takes a while to reach it, and it also has advanced flags that are an issue in that regard. But if you're only driving on a mostly flat highway, it should be faster than the Nero Custom.

Anyone else seeing things like this? Perhaps this is because you were playing with catchup on? The Tezeract is pretty much untouched by catchup On 8/27/2019 at 6:20 AM, SummerFreeze said: Theoretically the Tezeract has one of highest top speeds in the game, it just takes a while to reach it, and it also has advanced flags that are an issue in that regard. Completely wrong, no highway in this game is flat enough to allow a Tezeract to get away from a Nero Custom under normal circumstances

Even if a Nero Custom is slowed down by catchup, and the Tezeract isn't, shouldn't the Nero Custom be faster than a Tezeract in the lead? FPS? Globey Ignotard
LOL Whoa, I didn't know that the Tezeract wasn't affected by catch-up.
Scottiedog123
Nero... Apart from anything else.. engine noise.
HamwithCheese
Did you try testing both cars yourself?
computertech82
I tried racing with both cars on a single race, no traffic. The tezeract won by a few seconds (ran both cars several times), but wow, that tezeract is hard to control. I will probably do it again several races for both cars when I get off work. And again, I was the one running the Nero Custom fully upgraded, and it was several races (5+) with some Tezeracts in there (popular car being used on that race). NO catch up, no slipstream. 60fps. Could the 'bumps' (the notches that tell you, you are going off the road), actually change the speed? (aka curb boost?) HamwithCheese
yes, the run off strips offer very effective curb boosting
computertech82
Getting interesting now. Several races again, "business trip" is the race name. Best times. Nero Custom 2:20m Tezeract 2:17m NOTE: I keep screwing up with the tezeract loosing a good 1-2 seconds. If I could do a perfect run with it the time would be even shorter. The Nero Custom I pretty have it at a perfect run already. I don't think I can get it to go faster Edited August 29, 2019 by computertech82 SummerFreeze
