what do those files do and what would I be missing out on if I went with one over the other.

Actually, it tells you what every file is for on the GitHub page. More than likely it replaces the shader files, which means you would be missing out on the fixed lights. Whether or not that ENB fixes that as well or if its even compatible with fusionfix at all, I couldn't tell you.

Ah, I see now, it fixes some tree shadows, which I don't really care about. that would be the only "conflict" between the ENB I am using and Fusion Fix. Thanks for the help btw

Apologies if this has been discussed already but FlickeringShadowsFix set to 1 seems to take away some night shadow functionality such as walking in front of a cars headlights and seeing your shadow appear. Whats the trade off?

Well i've heard that there are possible ways of fixing it, such as shrinking the lod size so that they fit inside the full resolution texture. Or finding the values in the files that correspond to the distance sliders in game and extending them(kind of like Limit Adjuster used in San Andreas). I've also hears rumors that Project RevIVed is supposed to address this issue along with making optimzations to the game to make it run smoother while maxing out the sliders. Fingers crossed someone will pull the impossible eventually.

Has Fusion Fix stopped working for anyone else after the June 3rd update? I can only launch the game now if I remove the Ultimate ASI Loader that's required for Fusion Fix.

Yeah, ...these things require updating when the game gets updated, relax and wait a bit, let's see if Rockstar has botched anything else before people here waste more of their time fixing their sh*t 😛

Nevermind. I downloaded the latest release from github again and it's working now. Or at least appears to be working. Only checked to see if the night shadows are working correctly again. I guess I didn't have the newest version. Huh.

I only use the latest versions of fusion fix and radio downgrader, otherwise it's just the CE. Fusion fix still works from what I can tell. It skips the menus in the beginning, the lights near the Broker safehouse still works, no auto centering while aiming from cover. The cut songs from the vanila stations seems to be still present (listend to the doors 'five to one' while driving to Broker), zit also seems to still work, and the EFLC stations are back in the game and work properly.

Fusion fix, colaccel and project 2dfx still work with the new update, no need to redownload them if you had complete edition compatible versions.

Your game is heavily modded I see. Can't tell if this is something related to Fusion Fix or game itself.

My mods do not affect any buildings
There are only vehicles and weapons mods (and radar/map)

Anyway, it appeared after installing FusionFix

It is possible that the problem is in 1.0.7.0
(the script did not work with this patch, game did not start, so I took only the shaders and trees files, which probably have compatibility with 1.0.7.0)

Igor Bogdanoff

such bug can be caused by colache, not sure exactly how, you could try erasing its caches from root of gta 4 folder

I reinstalled the game. After uninstalling, I deleted the GTAIV folder from my steam directory, then downloaded the game, did a first start to complete the initial installation, logged out and then installed the latest fusion fix. No other mods/downgrading etc, just CE and FF.

Since then, the game refuses to start if the Rockstar Games Launcher is already running. If I start the game from my shortcut or the steam library and the RGL then has to start, the game launches properly and I can play without any problems. Anyone else experienced this weird behaviour?

The problem is in this folder pc\data\maps\props

I returned to the backup and the problem disappeared.
I put only the files from this folder and the problem reappeared.

1.0.7.0 (For guys who suddenly have the same problem)
