lolleroz
did anyone come across a bug where vehicle crash sounds dont play anymore on TLAD? on complete edition. Any ideas why/whats causing it?
MiesThies
@lolleroz I have the exact same problem, but I don't know how to fix it. I'm on TLAD Complete Edition as well, no other mods than fusion fix. Sometimes the vehicle has no sound, but after a few minutes of driving the engine sound returns out of nowhere. I just loaded my IV save and they play fine when playing IV... it doesnt bother me that much in TLAD but it'd be a disaster if it also happens in TBOGT, have yet to test Edited April 29, 2020 by lolleroz
zanesix
I played through all 3 episodes on complete edition and did not notice this. Although, I was using an older version of FusionFix that didn't have RIL.Budgeted included. Try disabling that by setting the values in the ini to 0. It really shouldn't be enabled by default in the first place, the silent vehicle bug is really annoying.
lolleroz
Just tested that, sadly no difference still. Gonna remove the asi and see if its fusionfix causing it at all cause I feel like its a Complete edition issue. edit: yep looks like its a complete edition issue, only happens in TLAD, IV and TBOGT are fine. Igor Bogdanoff
oh ye, it's ril.budgeted, ThirteenAG already "updated" ini to comment out ril.budgeted. just comment it out like pic related in blue selection GTAVI(CE)

GTAVI(CE)
I think this bug came with Complete Edition and i had it too. Lets hope rockstar brings another update to fix the things they broke recently (for example VRAM-bug and TBoGT-menu-music) iiCriminnaaL

dovaahkiin
Thank You @ThirteenAG, @nkjellman, @El Dorado, and countless others I didn't mention, for the fixes. True Champs!! And also @GTAVI(CE) for compiling it all under one roof. All of you gave some time of yours doing all this work so the community could save theirs. Personally made me very happy. I got only words but still, a Big Thanks. Niko might not approve but y'all my Cajin iiCriminnaaL

In the past Rockstar integrated all "carrec***.rrr" files with an patch in data/cdimages/carrec.img but forgot(?) to remove all unpacked files. @GTAVI(CE) Is this safe? You make good sense but a confirmation would be appreciated. Also, do you still recommend not to use 'ColAccel'? I have an Nvidia GPU and could test it out for the Green Team , if you could point out specific areas in the city where you experienced bugs. Cheers. zanesix
@dovaahkiin why dont you just try it until it causes problems and then remove it instead of asking some random person who made a modpack? It's just an asi mod, all you have to do is delete it and its gone. chances are its just his problem. Igor Bogdanoff and dovaahkiin

Damn 1,813 of useless files in a R* product, Devs got my respect for all they do but this oversight is real amusing XD Game's working like butter thanx to all those fixes. I tested ColAccel on my Nvidia rig and everything works perfect no texture glitch or graphical bug, even in your mentioned locations. So I guess it's an AMD problem, maybe. ColAccel saved me around 5-7 seconds on SSD. Not much but combined with the intro n menu skip, it made an already quick load, almost instant GTAVI(CE)

Also, considering that modpacks aren't allowed in this forum, perhaps you can promote your modpack over at the Steam community guides, as users over there will eat that stuff up just to patch their games quickly. zanesix
or... he could just stop because one update to any of those mods would just invalidate the entire modpack and its probably easier to find everything seperately at this point. I mean, look at the stuff he has in there already... Sultan trunk fix? Really? hes already gotten carried away imo. GTAVI(CE)
Could you please stop speculating? if there is an update, i will update the pack too. Nobody forces you to use it - you can still download all fixes seperately and include the single textures-fixes in all the .img-files by yourself (in the right order) which is quite a bit of work. @ICameForTheMods APC light mod is already included in FusionFix i think See on page 1 post 1 „DLC car lights fix“ Edited May 5, 2020 by GTAVI(CE)

zanesix
^ this is exactly my point. If people installed mods separately, they would be able to better troubleshoot why and not harass devs as much, lol. Jinx.

zanesix
When did I ever say you were the problem? he's not a dev. also fyi, the taxi bug is a random occurrence that can happen even on a clean game. The only way to get rid of it for sure is to use RIL.Budgeted (included in the newest version of FusionFix, you just have to enable it), but that has it's own issues (missing vehicles sounds). zanesix
@ceaton88 no, it doesn't (unless if big super sultan trunk fix +more pack used an older fusionfix version).
